Madeleine....A Ward of Court..

Application seems to have started on the 17th May 2007 and 'ratified' in July 2008.

Seems the main purpose is to force the disclosure of information that may lead to Her recovery.

The other thing off course is that the Courts become responsible for that childs welfare.

So as early as 17th May 2007 the mccanns wished to denounce their 'responsibility' for the child.Not that they had been particularly responsible earlier than that.

I have never understood why they applied for it at all, never mind so early.

It was a ploy......to get information from police that incriminated them.......didn't work though did it....they got a few sheets off worthless information .


The mccanns even thought ahead off themselves then.......

This bothered me last night, l'm not sure anyone would think like this just days after their daughter disappeared, it made me think it was premeditated.

They must have had conversations about all this, what on earth was said? who was advising them? Very scary IMO.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least, if Madeleine's disappearance was premeditated and it wouldn't surprise me if other members of the family were in on the act.

I found it rather strange that the following Monday, after Madeleine disappeared, Gerry McCann's sisters, Patricia and Philomena, along with their brother John, were sitting in a breakfast television studio, talking about visiting an MP later that day and setting up a find Madeleine fund. One would have thought their first priority, would have been to fly out to PDL and search for Madeleine.

A couple of weeks after Madeleine disappeared, Philomena made another trip to London, this time she was meeting Gordon Brown, who she once described as being a family friend.

Have you seen the video, where Kate's Uncle Brian (Kennedy) and Gerry's mother were being interviewed by the media? If you haven't, the video shows Gerry's mother telling the media, how uplifted her son was, now the fund was up and running. Further footage of the video, shows Kennedy (with a smile on his face), telling the media, how the public could make donations to the fund. He said would be used to pay for the McCanns legal fees as well as other expenditure.

This pair never made a plea for the safe return of Madeleine, all they were bothered about, was the money aspect.

I wonder what legal fees they were expecting to have so soon after the disappearance of Madeleine ?

It bothers me too so soon after Madeleine's disappearance that they should be so organised and defensive.And coupled with the Government and Foreign Office 'assistance' it does seem that all efforts were being put in place to protect the 'parents' and their friends rather than look for a missing child.
No ordinary Brits would or ever have got this treatment.

It really does sound like the launch of a business venture.

Those investigating, or who have investigated, must know so much more than us. What they do with that knowledge, and why, is another matter. We only have half the jigsaw. The more I read about this case the more complex it gets.
