Re: How ludicrious
He comes across as very arrogant and pompous - just like the two he represents. They seem to look down on people. Just seems strange to me that he's changed his allegiance from cosying up to Labour in 2007 and now over to Tory. Mind you most politicians are tarred with the same brush and many only want to feather their own nests and bugger the constituents. Oops, that doesn't sound right. Back in Huge Grunt territory.
Another pompous ass has been busy on Twitter today - Jim Gamble. Blocking people who question Mc version left, right and centre. Said that Anna Esse was rude iirc or words to that effect. Why do Mc supporters come across as arrogant and will not discuss the case. All IMO

Re: How ludicrious
I notice the other candidates/opponents are referred to as being "of real substance with proven track records". Also "Clarence Mitchell's selection suggests that this battle will powerfully highlight the difference between celebrity and achievement."
With the McCanns' connections to Labour, I assume they will not be front and centre for Mitchell as he campaigns.

Tony Bennett, on the Jill Havern site thinks he may come over well. He said he thought he would be competent at the hustings, in debate and suchlike, and whatever we may think of Clarence on here Mr Bennett may well be right. :-0

The thought that this ambulance chasing creature, to whom lying and deceit comes to as easy as breathing is being considered as a, 'peoples representative' in what was the greatest democratic assembly, demeans the term 'Honourable Member'.
