Watch out for flashers, drivers!

Off subject but yesterday I saw one of those thankfully rare (but once is too often) sights - a woman driving in a full burka, barely able to see where she was going.

These people need to be locked up for their everyone's safety.

It's not the ones driving which worry the hell out of me, it those wandering around airports!!! A few years ago I saw a group of them airside, they had obviously been through security checks, how the hell did they get passed? How did the security guy identify them. Personally I don't think that they should be allowed to travel like this. I know people will scream "human rights" but how can you tell who is beneath the veil?

We had one who worked in our local bank as a teller. And nobody wanted to be served by her. You could see all the people in the queue, counting up nervously in case she was the free teller when they came to the front of the queue. I saw people actually pretend they had forgotten something, leave the queue, and rejoin it so as to avoid getting served by her. Yet there was another teller with just the headscarf, and nobody had any problem with her! I think it's the case in western society that when people are dealing with your money, you need to see their faces before you can trust them. This teller still works in the bank but they have moved her to a job in the back office now.

I can understand the reluctance to be served by anyone dressed like this. I doubt that the majority of them have any say in the matter - and that is truly awful in 21st century Britain - but they annoy me so much that I can't bring myself to speak to them.

As regards travelling abroad, passport photos have to be full-faced; maybe these poor wretches go to a private room with female officers so that they can be checked with their passports.
