BBC News:Madeleine McCann: Phone records may hold key, UK police say

I really thought SY would investigate properly, then i read three of the 41 suspects had been investigated and could almost be ruled out, no prizes for guessing who they are

Well that ought to be difficult since nobody knows the exact moment that Madeleine did go missing, except possibly her parents.

Further "substantial amount" does not equate to "substantive." Just because there are alot of phone records of people in the Algarve at the time of Madeleine's disappearance, does not mean that any of the records are of any significance. Further, anyone who would have planned the "abduction" so carefully as the McCanns claim would have used those disposable pay-as-you-go phones or no phones at all.

This is a huge waste of time, and very hurtful and unhelpful to the McCann's frivolous lawsuit claiming that the book hindered the search for Madeleine!
