Meanwhile Bromley go 11 points clear at the top of the Skrill South following an impressive 3-1 win away to rivals Ebsfleet.

Just seen this quote in the papers.
"Arsene is getting bored managing a successful club like Arsenal. He is looking for a new challenge and the Millwall job is right up his street."
It is well known that he wants to move to the Old Kent Road near to his favorite restaurants.

Re: Footie Thread...................
Arsenal emphasised their current superiority over Tottenham with a comfortable FA Cup third round victory at Emirates Stadium.
Arsene Wenger has set his sights on an extended FA Cup run as his side stand top of the Premier League table - and they were never in serious danger as they dominated this north London derby to move into the next round.
Arsenal 2 Spurs 0

Re: Footie Thread...................
Ian Holloway appointed as new Millwall manager.
Arsene Wenger reported to be gutted.Quoted as saying "This is the second time i have been turned down for the Millwall job,I am gutted.Just what do i have to do to convince the Millwall Chairman that i am good enough for this massive club.Oh well i suppose i will just have to serve out my time at Arsenal and hope its third time lucky later on this season."
Holloway is such a nice man i know the Millwall fans will support him regardless of what happens next which is a definite improvement on the previous 'west ham' agent Lomas who was doomed to fail even before he started.
Its guaranteed to bring a bit of fun to the touchline if nothing else.

Theo Walcott
Really bad news for the Ar$e and England as Theo injured against Spurs and out for 6 months with cruciate ligament damage.
Gutted to be missing the World Cup.

World Cup
The 2022 World Cup is to be moved to the Winter. !
Great idea to have the World Cup in the desert. Now we will have to suspend our football season just because some old scrotes took a nice bung.

Re: Footie Thread...................
Aston Villa 1-2 Arsenal
So Arsenal go back to the top of the Prem league and are looking good.
Arsene Wenger has still refused to sign his new contract. He is currently on an annual salary of £7.3mill which is probably quite enough for most people.
Clearly he is still struggling with the disappointment of being turned down for the Millwall job which would probably have doubled his salary.

Re: Footie Thread...................
And Ian Holloway gets off to a flying start....
Millwall 1-0 Ipswich
Ian Holloway says Millwall players are too fat So this week He's taking them to boot camp in Portugal for 5 days to get them fit.
So maybe they will all come home looking like Ronaldo ?

Perhaps the good doctors, Kate and Gerry will get the team to look for Madeleine while they are out there...? Who knows they may even find a fridge, or a buggy?Lioned wrote:And Ian Holloway gets off to a flying start....

This is Millwall we're talking about here.We have special songs for scousers at the Den which i cannot repeat here but suffice to say i don't think there will be too many mccann sympathisers down the Old Kent Road.
