Yes isn't it wonderful news....she has been afforded the generous sum of £700,000 to look for a child who know one knows is dead or alive and the mccanns have been afforded the sum off 10m to look for their dead child who SY and the MET know full well is dead .


So when the £700,000 has been spent, what then, they stop when that sum has been reached with perhaps leads to his whereabouts just 'left in the air' as the money has run out?


Can they put a sum on a child's life.

Let's hope Daniel Enwistle is next on the list and he gets more than the 3 months he got when he went missing.

It's good news isn't it? I really believe Ben is alive, Kerry must be so hopeful today.

This is good news for Kerry. I feel they could not do anything else but give the money in the end. They will have an uphill battle with the Greek police I think, as it was so long ago. As Kitti said, what happens when the money runs out? Well it is a start and at least something is happening. Kerry has fought long and hard for this, all the very best of luck to her and the investigation.

The McCann case is open ended, no limit set on what the police can spend. Its not a case of saying Madeleine's case has had this much so Ben's should have the same - at the end of the day there might be good intelligence now on Ben's case which brings it to a swift conclusion and, for all we know, the amount set will perhaps be considered sufficient to cover such costs in Ben's investigation. However, what I would expect is if no swift conclusion is reached, that it becomes open ended like Madeleine's and I would anticipate for another decision to be made after the initial sum of money has been spent, if they do need to spend it all that is.

David is his father, about whom there have been some allegations on Facebook recently.

I can't find anything about either of them being found dead.

I didn't know anything about his dad.

I was in a Facebook group run by David's ex-father-in-law who clearly has many unresolved issues with him. It is I think true that David has a conviction going back to the late 1980s but nothing later as far as I could tell.

I left the group when ex-pa-in-law became very abusive and making threats towards David E.

Missing boy Daniel Entwistle's father found dead

The father of a seven-year-old boy who disappeared more than a decade ago has been found dead at his home in Suffolk.

Daniel Entwistle was last seen on CCTV at a convenience store in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, on 3 May 2003.

His bike was found near Trinity Quay, sparking a harbour and river search.

Daniel's father David was discovered dead in Lowestoft on Wednesday. Along with his estranged wife Paula, he had been involved in several campaigns to find Daniel.

Recently, private investigators had taken up the search although Norfolk Police said the case was still open.

In 2012 Mr Entwistle said he was still haunted by his son's disappearance.

The coroner has been informed and a post-mortem examination will be carried out to ascertain what caused Mr Entwistle's death.

I hope that the grandfather's hate campaign had nothing to do with whatever has happened to this man.

He was an alcoholic so im guessing it was drink related.

There were rumours that both parents had drink problems at the time of their son's disappearance. By the way, his revengeful grandfather does not think that David was involved with whatever happened to Daniel.

I hope that some day he is found.

That would be the SAME 'DAVID ENTWISTLE' that 'appeared' on the Channel 5 programme about 'missing' Madeleine 3 months ago, 'comparing the resources' (£10+ MILLION) the McCann's have had, compared to his 'missing' son's 'investigation'.

He was due to 'appear' on This Morning, with Schofield, the day after the Ch 5 programme, to 'discuss' the erm, 'differences' between the two 'cases'.

ITV 'pulled' the 'interview' with less than 10 minutes 'to air'.

And NOW he's 'dead'.

Not saying, just saying.

Disgusting and so very sad for Daniel and his victim.

I doubt that Daniel was ever aware of this - it was years before he was born and, as far as is known, his father committed no other offences.

Going back to Ben Needham, I wonder from where his family has got the idea to produce a website like this?
