The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that a formal request for help in the Madeleine McCann case has been sent to Portuguese authorities.
In a statement made tonight, a police spokesperson said:

WHAT is confusing me (not hard to do!) is:

WHY would the 'elitist' of BHH's 38 Met 'elite' Madeleine Cops team need to 'request' help from anyone?

Let alone 'help' from a bunch 'of sardine munching, imbecilic, bungling, corrupt, foreign morons'?

As the entire UK media, and vinegar breath Parsons, call the PJ, at every opportunity (almost daily)!

I think it might have something to do with SY's "persons of interest" jeanmonroe. If SY want to extradiite someone from another Country they have to go though Portugal where the crime was committed.

I agree jinvta.....from day 1 they had unprecedented Help , although their Holiday had finished the twins were allowed in the creche every day FOC, as were the McCanns able to use the Restaurant FOC if they wanted to . The Portugese people did all they could , including attending church with the McCanns on Madeleine's 4 th Birthday and giving flowers to them. You know the one....the McCanns are beaming outside the Church.
