Thanks marxman....long time since you have posted.
Until I started reading I had forgotten how convoluted Textusas' articles are., understood some of it , "elementary my dear Watson" but then the timelines got too tight and I lost the plot , is the cat Redwood?
I said a long time ago that Gerry could have found Madeleine dead and put her in his Tennis Bag and hid her in the Wardrobe until after the Police had arrived, hence the kneeling on the bed and crying to distract them from searching. When the Family was moved in with Payne's for the night they would have kept the key incase they needed something from the Apartment........this is when Gerry went to get the bag , while everyone else was searching , having gone jogging the McCanns would have known the best spot on the cliffs to dispose of the bag. It would be easy for Gerry to buy a new bag while he was in London because one would assume Tennis was not played for a while because of the grief.

Hi Panda, yes indeed, not posted for a time but
I've lurked about and kept up to speed thanks to
all the many dedicated posters such as yourself.
I have a real feeling that a number of rats have now
been cornered, nowhere to run nor hide. They will be
out in the open, how many? I'm not sure. Many already
have jumped a sinking ship leaving a shortlist of very
frightened and isolated rats. However, when King rat
is caught, others will seek deals to prevent being eaten
by the cat. Meowww

Re: Rats, by Textusa
I am confused as to who is the cat too. Mainly due to this statement:
"The cat first attempted to pounce on the rats immediately after Maddie’s body was disposed of. He was really enthusiastic going about it. The cat even used dogs.
But was forced to change his mind in September 2007. Without a body, the deed couldn't be contained only to the targeted rats."
This would imply that the cat is not Redwood, but instead someone from Portugal.

jinvta, reading it again I think it is Amaral, dogs were used by the Portugese Police the day after Madeleine went missing.

Re: Rats, by Textusa
I don't remember anything about this:
"The first was the cat saying it was paying particular attention to phone records between 21.00 – 22.00 May 3 2007. This for us is clearly a message saying “We have phone records of calls between people who were supposed to be sitting next to, or very near, each other”.
Were there a bunch of phone calls made between the Tapas members from 2100-2200? Are these the records that were considered too instrusive and therefore inadmissible?
And then there is this:
"The cat wants closure. It’s been almost 3 years since he’s been commissioned to have this meal and it’s been taunting him since." Amaral was not commissioned to this case 3 years ago.
I wonder if the "cat" just refers to all those seeking justice for Madeleine? Of course, this last quote would imply that Redwood is on the McCanns.

The phone records were up to about midnight I think. If that marxman shows up again I hope he reads the posts and tells us who cat is.

I think the 'cat' is much bigger, and I think Textusa is
hinting that its the British establishment (Lion) which
is this mighty cat which has been humiliated in the eyes
of the world and is going to rid itself of these rats.
Interesting that Textusa has included the Leicester
police as rats, the force that conducted the farcical
rogatory interviews. I maybe wrong, but recent cases
indicate that the British establishment and public are
seeking a root and branch clean out of corruption and
crime within sections of society. For now, the cat's eyes
are firmly on this case. Just my opinion.

I can see this is turning into a serious debate....shows how starved we are of anything to post.
Whoever is a Member or Textusa, ask her/him, and tell him/her Panda says to spare a thought for the Plebs who read your topics.
