SIMON Cowell was celebrating last night after becoming dad to a baby boy on Valentine’s Day.
Si got to a New York hospital in the nick of time to see girlfriend Lauren Silverman have his first child — weighing in at a healthy 6lbs 7oz.

Hi NBY....he seems very happy , I just wonder if he will marry or just have his name put on the Birth Certificate as the Father. It didn't seem as though the relationship was that strong when it was first made public.

OOPS...sorry mara_thon, it's not a bad name, but with all the newborn of Celebrities having outrageous names like 'Harper' Beckham, Brooklyn Beckham .....what were the Beckhams thinking of !!!!

Well obviously the Mother doesn't want the hassle .  

Wouldn't it be embarrassing for Simon if it turns out that he isn't the father?!

It happened with Sylvester Stallone some years ago and also more recently with David Blunkett - though in his case there was an older child that was his.

Hi NHY, I'm sure Simon Cowell had a paternity test, he was hardly the besotted Lover originally .
 
New mum Laura Silverman, 36, was forced to carry Eric and one of their two pooches while leaving their New York hotel on Friday.  Looks like neither will be hands on Parents . Give the Beckhams their due, they are good Parents, spend a lot of time with them  even though they are busy and make sure the children have contact with their Grandparents and kept away from Photographers.
