Could you be a little more explicit for those of us who don't do Facebook?

Clarence's campaign team have started a Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/clarence4pavilion. It's full of the usual self-aggrandisement of Clarence canvassing, Clarence at an exhibition etc etc. But recently lots of posters from Twitter have descended on it, asking awkward questions such as "are you still being paid by the McCanns?" and "why should we vote for an advocate of child neglect?" I should imagine the page will get whooshed pretty shortly, so if you want to see it, be quick!

Wow.
All the questions are about McCanns and not very aligned with his attempt to sway the voters of Brighton. I am surprised they are still there!
He seems to be attempting to uswe social media when not really ready for that Pandora's box to be opened - he joined last sept and only has two posts on his wall - in About Me he has the following (mind nothing in his About Me mentions McCanns!)
Clarence Mitchell is the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Brighton Pavilion. Clarence will work tirelessly to be the strong voice in Parliament Brighton needs to fulfill its huge economic and cultural potential once again.
Biography
Brighton is known worldwide as Britain’s most exciting, diverse, creative and attractive cities. However, over the last few years it has suffered badly from the effects of a failed Green experiment, one that threatens to make the city a shadow of its former, proud self.
So my vision for the city is simple: Brighton now urgently needs to fulfil its huge economic and cultural potential once again - for both its residents and its visitors. Only with a strong voice in Parliament - one that will fight for the city’s recovery and prosperity at every turn - can Brighton’s restoration truly begin.
Locally, the Greens have failed to deliver on so many levels; parking controls that are strangling the local economy, industrial disputes that have left rubbish piling on the streets, as well as seeing recycling rates lower than they were under the previous council. Inexplicably, in a move that utterly ignores the real needs of people, they have increased council tax - despite the Government's pledge to fund a nation-wide freeze in council tax. All this, while the Green MP acts as a lone voice pursuing her own agenda, hopelessly isolated in Parliament.
As your representative in Parliament it will be my mission to deliver on Brighton’s real problems, dealing with issues that are directly relevant to the future success of both the City and its people

How f*ckn pathetic - rubbish in the streets and recycling rates lower! Yes, that's what we need in an MP. Clarence will be the strong voice in Parliament to deal with these issues of DEVASTATING importance.
Why not - he has recycled rubbish long enough for the McCanns!

His answer would be to say, "How ludicrous such actions are, and so typical of British refuse recycling habits, so please send all donations in an envelope addressed to Kate and Gerry in Rothely"...widowan wrote:Iris wrote:Clarence's campaign team have started a Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/clarence4pavilion.
