English Police say that Maddie McCann assassins are Portuguese and are involved in drug trafficking

They are Portuguese and have a criminal record for drug trafficking. The English police states that they assaulted the apartment at the Ocean Club resort, in Lagos, and killed Madeleine McCann on 3 May 2007.

The phone calls made before and after the crime were used as evidence to support the searches that have been ongoing since Monday.

Scotland Yard also ensures that there is a British witness who saw one of the men carrying a child in his arms up to the wasteland, situated less than 500 meters from the resort. The British say that he fled, but before he was able to bury the girl's cadaver.

They want to hear the three suspects, but they still lack the evidence to support the claim.

“Those who are going to commit a robbery do not travel on foot and they will not abandon a body so close to the crime scene. Moreover, there were no signs of forced entry at the apartment”, said Gonçalo Amaral, the former PJ inspector who investigated the case and considers that this new theory is not credible.

This version is, incidentally, one among others contained in the letter rogatory which determined that the searches would take place. Though it is the strongest, the British open the door to other possibilities. Other five suspects are listed, they also have a criminal record for theft.

Seven years after the disappearance, the British police now guarantees to the Public Prosecutor's Office that their claim was well founded. The description given by a British holidaymaker coincides with one of the suspects who lives nearby. The woman saw him speaking in English on the phone, as he passed, carrying the child in his arms.

So SY believe that 'drug traffickers' walked into 5A, killed Madeleine, then carried her through the streets of PdL to the scrubland, dropped her and ran away.

Right. Yep, that makes complete sense.

Where has this info come from? Have SY given a press briefing?

So they killed her at nine and removed her at ten.

I don't think there have been any briefings.
I've read once or twice this week that the press have tried to buttonhole DCI Redwood on his arrival at the search site, and he's not said a dicky bird.

And one has to wonder, what would attract drug traffickers to apartment 5A in the first place?

So if he didn't have time to bury the body, why wasn't it found?

Because it wasn't there in the first place.

Exactly, never read such a load of nonsense.....well I take that back, I have regarding this case.

Maybe they were Calpol traffickers and they heard about the huge McCann stash?

It this supposed to be some sort of credible hypothesis?

Mind you, the bit about the bloke who was carrying the child being on his phone and speaking English with a Scottish accent might be accurate.

These drug traffickers were busy even before they left the apartment with Madeleine and they were so clever. They removed their fingerprints without removing Kate McCann's fingerprints from the 'jemmied shutter. They even made Madeleine's bed, before they left and that was after they'd attempted to clean the walls and carpet. They did all this, between 21:30 and 22:00hrs.

Bernard Hogan-Howe, was really scraping the barrel, when he appointed Redwood to lead Operation Grange. Or maybe he wasn't, as a friend of Kate McCann's parents, maybe Redwood's style of investigating this case, was just what Hogan-Howe needed.

If Hogan-Howe, believes that exonerating the McCanns, by putting the blame on an innocent person or concluding the case with Madeleine was taken by person's unknown, will be the end of the matter, he is in for a rude awakening.

It won't be long before Sean and Amelie will learn the facts of the case and start asking questions.

Give them a break. They have to go with the abduction theory and this is the best they can come up with - it's taken year to get this far.   

What are drug traffickers anyway? What do they do?

I bet that theory came to existence after they found the two cannabis plants yesterday.
