Mudslide in Washington has 108 people unaccounted for

There was an interview this morning with a Man and his grown up Son, their home is destroyed and when the Son went to search for his family, he found his Mother and Sister dead on the floor of the house. Tragic isn't it , apparently there was no warning .

Rescuers are predicting more fatalities .

We can't imagine it can we, without warning tons of mud cascading down a mountain , it must have been terrifying for the Residents and Motorists.

A six month old baby was rescued but it is feared that at least 90 people are unaccounted for and buildings that were 3 stories high are buried under the mud.

The 90 dead projection has been reduced but it will take months to clear all the debris and a final figure is reached. So sad, not just the deaths , it's the loss of homes, personal memorabilia etc.
