Max Clifford and the McCanns
The news today that Max Clifford has been found guilty as charged has reminded me that several years ago he was quoted as saying he would never represent them. I've also read he knows a lot about a lot of people and, as the old saying goes, he knows where all the bodies are buried. I can't help but think he might just be in the know about what really happened seven years ago and might now be willing to talk.

Re: Max Clifford and the McCanns
hiya interested I just had a conversation with my neighbour about Max Clifford and we had a similar conversation. if hes doing jail, so will so many others, that's what we both thought anyway. not sure he knows much about the McCs though. if he does will it make any difference.

Just goes to show, no matter how much money you have, sometimes you just can't buy your way out...
I bet he thought with his expensive lawyer he would get off ..
Did you see him sneer when the journalist asked him what he would like to say to the women...
He did a 'Gerry McCann sneer'

I think I am right in saying that Robert Murat turned down Max Clifford's offer of representing him. Perhaps Murat had been tipped off? He is now the last person you would want to be associated with.

I thought that Clifford did represent Robert Murat for a while, I seem to remember a vídeo of them together in Cliffords office.

I'm sure you are right Fred; however it didn't last long and Clifford was really cheesed off over it according to rumour. Murat must have had his reasons me thinks.
