Thought the McCanns are in the loop with Operation Grange? Maybe Redwood forgot to tell K&G about the possibility of Madeleine not leaving 5A alive

Looks like kates doing her Mother Teresa bit for lost kids.Presumably this will be the start of the media fest leading up to next weeks balloon launch.

A few days ago we hear from a 'family friend' Kate & Gerry will not be applying for a death certificate as there is no evidence...blah blah blah...then this fishing? are Kate & Gerry out of the loop?

The headline should read

"I NEED TO ACTUALLY START SEARCHING FOR MADELEINE, MYSELF"

Very interesting this story, first time in years I saw a headline and wanted to read the story. What are they pre-empting I wonder.

I too think that this is a fishing exercise. And possibly a pre-emptive strike fuelled by this from today's Scum:

Scotland Yard recently announced it believes Portuguese authorities will let them carry out investigations where Madeleine vanished on holiday with her family seven years ago.
That action is likely to involve ground searches.

Mr Amaral and his legal team should be made aware of this article.
Because he deduces that she is dead and KM now admits that possibility and, by their terms, she is therefore 'hampering the search'.
And using McCann logic, will she now sue herself too?
