I do try and read most things on the forum in this section but not everything. What gets me is that a couple of months or so ago there wasn't a mention of Madeleine without adding how the Mccanns were suing. And now there hasn't been a mention of it for weeks. Not even the ongoing court case. So it's hardly a surprise people are wondering what's going on. Because news we get is so very selective.

The last update was on April 30th.  Projecto Justica Goncalo Amaral sent out an Email to inform everybody that the WOC papers have now been obtained (the reason for the postponement of the trial)  These will now be presented to the Judge, who must then decide the next steps.

As somebody earlier in this thread pointed out, the Email contained an appeal to continue to assist with Amaral's legal costs.  He has funded the acquisition of the WOC documents himself.

So, he hasn't settled, and it seems highly unlikely that he will.

Thanks for the information, I'm glad Snr Amaral hasn't settled and I hope none of the others named in the McCanns lawsuit have settled.
