That came within 24 hours of Cameron threatening to bring forward a referendum if the EU Commission didn't reform. So they have ta
ken not a blind bit of notice. Coming only days after the European elections and the near wiping out of the only proactive European party, the EU Commissioners seem to be saying they will do as they wish, and the electorate across Europe don't matter.

This is true katertaif. I don't know why any country bothers with electing MEP's because it makes not one jot of difference, they seem to have no say in anything. Business as usual.
Just saw that Nick Clegg on the news trying to earn himself some brownie points by saying that they should stop interfering. Well he is obviously of the view that " a week is a long time in politics" Hoping that we will forget that little more than a week ago he was trying to sell us hook, line and sinker to Brussels.
There was also a scene of him pulling pints in a pub with Cable, for Gods sake. What a odious two faced toad he is.

I saw Clegg, and his mate Cable on the news tonight, enjoying a pint. I don't for one moment believe that the negative coverage of Farage showed him enjoying a pint and then UKIP doing so well had anything to do with this personal first had it?
No of course not, that would be too obvious wouldn't it. or maybe he's just desperate.

Quite a perceptive analysis fuzeta. I think you are completely correct, and he is hoping that we are too stupid to realise that this particular Leopard while not exactly changing his spots, is desperately hoping we will forget what he was saying only a week ago.
In several interviews over the last few days. Liberal demolition MP's have been in effect bragging about how they took over in 2010 with the country in a dreadful state, and have worked tirelessly since for the good of the country. It seems they have forgotten, or at least hope that we have, that the same Liberal demolition party also held discussions with labour in 2010 and eventually went along with the tories, who offered them more in terms of personal gain.
Why they would even consider going into coalition or be considering it for 2015 with the party they say left the country in a dreadful state is completely beyond me, and says a great deal about their values.
They have certainly shown without any shadow of doubt why they were out in the political wilderness for a century.
