Indeed - judging by readers' reactions on various rags' websites this tripe is having exactly the opposite effect to that intended - and I for one do not believe that it's some dastardly plan by the UK media to turn the public whilst appearing to support the pair - IMO yes the UK media are that thick.

Kate McCann once stated that she wrote her book for her children and she hoped that wherever Madeleine was, she would be able read the book. Apart from the gutter language, which she used in her book, this vile woman mentioned being unable to make love to her (in my opinion, equally vile) husband.

Gerry McCann used the 'F' word in front of all the children on that airport bus. If he could use gutter language in public and she could use gutter language in her book of sex and lies, then they must use gutter language behind closed doors, in front of their twins.

The passion the McCanns have shown in public, when they've used their gutter language towards someone who has upset them, by stating the truth, has never been shown towards the person who supposedly took Madeleine. In fact the only time the McCanns have shown passion, is when anyone has quite rightly pointed the finger of suspicion at them.

They are flying back on Monday? The trial is due to restart at 9.30am on Monday. It must be a bloody early flight. Hope they have paid the pilot well to get out of bed that early.

Am I the only one who finds it odd that she didn't go directly to Lisbon? I wonder why Burgau; possibly since it is close to PDL she can slip in there without being recognized because she has said she feels 'close' to Madeleine in PDL.

I can understand them coming in early to avoid the press at airports. But why is she in the Algarve?
