Daily Snail is reporting £75,000. That sure buys a lot of highlights and bottles of plonk. Cannot believe that anyone can be taken in by their lies. They are the most undepressed looking people I have ever seen. Looks like justice in Portugal stinks as much as it does in the UK.

I am not surprised, because everything we have expected to happen since all this began in 2007 has gone the other way, always in the McCann's favour.

I am so disappointed for Amaral, but I am not surprised, I would have been surprised had he won!

There is no doubt in my mind that this case is a complete whitewash, there will never be a conclusion, they will never, ever be held to account.

Very strange verdict, very strange way to leak it in the Press without informing Amaral's lawyers.
Suspicious.
Anyway, G.Amaral will probably appeal in Portugal and in Strasbourg where they give a very important value to the freedom of speech.
A battle lost, not the war.
