Well Gerry did say the person/people responsible for Madeleine's disappearance have been laughing for seven years and I have to say I agree with him because I've seen far too many pictures of the laughing McCanns over the years. Laughing all the way to the bank...evil, evil people.

I think that you could be right there. The twins may very well rebel against their parents when they grow up. It is horrifying that they were left alone for hours at a time night after night. Kate's claim that Sean asked about Mr. Amaral claiming that Kate had killed (hidden) Madeleine is an outright lie. And for this to be the only claim for 250,000 for each twin is outright ridiculous. She even claimed that Sean just moved on (sneer) just as she did when she made up the story about Madeleine asking about where they had been the night before when her and Sean (the twins) had cried.

I hope for the twins sake that they do grow up normally and live long and happy lives. Madeleine is currently the only true victim in this circus, so hopefully the twins won't fall victim to the McCann's hedonism and greed as well.

It can also be liver damage, iris. A few years ago, I got talking to a woman on a train journey from Birmingham to Dorset. I noticed 2 things about her: clubbed fingers and black around her eyes. My thoughts were liver and kidneys. When we stopped to change trains and went for a cup of tea together in Poole, I asked her! She said she had just been to a hospital in Birmingham because the drugs she was taking to prevent rejection of her liver transplant was causing kidney damage.

I think that it was first published when, in the early days of the case, the media did what it always does and digs up perhaps embarrassing stories from the past of people in the news.

The media soon learned that it couldn't get away with that with the McCanns!

Yes I had seen it before but long ago, as you say during the very early days, she looked hard faced and brassy even then. Hotlips from Mash was a much nicer character.
