Hi Angelina , I think he will surprise us ....his concern for the people who live near Heathrow Airport is real, he saw a Woman being attacked by a yobbo in London, jumped off his bike and chased him off. He didn't mind making a fool of himself at the Olympic games . At least he has a personality, not like Cameron .

I hear what you say, he's certainly got personality and can be very funny.
Maybe his concern for the people near Heathrow is more about getting the expansion switched back to his favoured site near the coast.
As for making a fool of himself, that's all part of the face he shows to the public. Underneath that, I suspect, is a very astute mind and an agenda. Hats off to him for tackling a yob, even if there is a possibility of it being in the cause of good press.
Several times I've read of him backing schemes that I would not be happy with at all.....building lots of houses on green land for a start. I think we wouldn't have any countryside left if Boris had anything to do with it...this is why I would hate to see him as PM.
As regards him being a Mayor, he's much better than Ken ever was. That said, I read that he's just provided a £1m for an unnecessary makeover of a south London town (total uproar for some new paving and taking away popular bus routes) when there are people living rough in the local park.

Morning Angelina , I don't know about the Bus Route, but the Council makes most of the decisions so maybe he was just overruled. I do admire him for his stand on a London Hub. Heathrow Airport is the pits , last time i was there there were only 2 Ladies Toilets out of ten working. I went outside and asked a girl wheeling a cleaning trolley and told her , asking her to find someone . Her reply was "I no know" and she walked away. The third runway would be even worse noise for those living in Heathrow and think of the villages which would be decimated to make way for more trains. London is ideal for Businessmen and Tourists ........no Boris is not paying me for this.
