Here is what Brian Reade says about Brenda in today's, (Saturday 11th October), 'Daily Mirror'.

features@mirror.co.uk

NOTE - He' claims that she sent Gerry & Kate over 4,200 messages. As I understand it she sent them none,
as she was on Twitter & they are not.

MARTIN MUSTN'T BEAR THE BRUNT

by Brian Reade

"Martin Brunt is one of the finest crime reporter's I've ever met.

When he approached Brenda Leyland to ask if she'd like to comment on reports she had been sending hate-filled
messages to Madeleine McCann's parents for four years, he  was doing a standard reporter's door-stepping job.

That she was found dead days later is a tragedy but the accusations on social media that Brunt somehow "killed her"
are wide of the mark.

Mrs. Leyland had sent more than 4,200 vile Tweets to the McCann's, which, had they been in letter form
would have seen her arrested long ago. Online trolling is a modern disease which claims many victims and
Brunt was merely doing his duty by confronting it.

Of course some of the twitterati can't see that, or even the irony in anonymous trolls now persecuting and threatening
Brunt for taking on an anonymous troll.

There seems to be a belief on Twitter that because people are allowed to hide behind false names in their bedrooms they
allowed to get away with saying whatever they want.

That they have an entitlement to create misery without responsibility.

 Guess what? They don't."

Thank you, hermes333.

Hacks getting all their wagons in a circle to protect one of their own.
Bolstered by bare-faced lies and blatant hypocrisy.

That must be at least three Mirror McCann articles today.
That's three times today that they've dropped their trousers for Mitchell.
GIMPS.

There seems to be a belief in the MSM that because 'cut and paste' hacks are allowed to hide in their ivory towers behind their news desks they are allowed to get away with saying whatever they want.

That they have an entitlement to create obviously fabricated propaganda without responsibility.

Guess what, Mr Reade? They don't.
