I think every picture I have ever seen of him he is smirking and she always looks sly (even when she is faking her concern about Madeleine's whereabouts).

I still believe that this is a bold faced lie. The McCanns have never stated who these child abduction experts were who told them they should not show any emotion on television. This was story was made up when people started to notice that the McCanns showed no emotions when speaking about Madeleine. Parents of truly abducted children would not be able to contain themselves, despite being told otherwise. Further, I have never heard of this advice being given to anyone ever before.

Did the "expert" say she could never cry again.....I have not seen any true emotion from her in 7 years, so she is certainly following the advice to the letter.   Perhaps the expert could ring her and tell her she can stop now.

The police (who could be considered experts imo) told them not to mention the eye defect, but they chose to ignore that piece of advice.

Yes, selective because Madeleine's eye defect was a good "marketing ploy".
