Amazon signs Post Office delivery deal

The deal was announced just days after Royal Mail warned that Amazon's own delivery network would hit its parcel business growth and demanded "urgent" regulatory action to secure the future of its universal service mandate."
Why would customers go to a P,O. to collect a Parcel when it can be delivered to their door????? Amazon have been in trouble before over its' working practices and I think the P.O. has been conned to stop any regulation.
