Find Madeleine - Christmas message

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of our supporters.

Once again we have been amazed this year by the support we continue to have for our search for Madeleine - and opening the hundreds of Christmas cards has once again been a truly humbling experience. The warmth, kindness and commitment to never forget has precipitated more than a few happy tears! Thank you.

It's hard to ignore that 'here we are again' feeling at this time of year, still with no idea where our daughter is or of what's happened. What we can say is that our resolve to find out, as well as the hope which has always been present, has not lessened. In addition it's very apparent that the determination of the Metropolitan Police remains steadfast, in spite of the persistent challenges they face.

No matter where she is, Madeleine will, as always, be very much with us and our family this Christmas.

Thank you for holding her in your hearts too.

Just read the Christmas message on JH and thought that someone else had written it.

It has strange structuring not like parents who had lost a child would write.

Remembering Kate's letter to the Home Secretary in which she used "me" instead of "my" which showed a complete lack of knowledge on the use of gerunds, I don't rate her grasp of English grammar very highly.

I wouldn't like to hazard a guess who wrote the "Message". They were far too busy to look for Madeleine when she "disappeared", being tied up on their laptop, so I can't see them having enough time for composing messages hoping for future support.

Presumeably, the McCann's "MERRY CHRISTMAS to ALL of 'OUR SUPPORTERS', 'includes' Cindy Martin, ardent 'McCann SUPPORTER' who sent DEATH THREATS, before her death, TO a defenceless, widowed, pensioner, who had the temerity to not believe, the McCann 'version' of events, without question.

Someone needs to remind the McCanns that SY is not looking for a "live" Madeleine, they are searching for the perpetrators who caused her demise. But why let the facts get in the way of a good Christmas message?

Hi Roasted Arizona, as you can see I was the original poster of the greater majority of Leicester Mercury articles on the 'media' thread and I only posted them on this forum. I am a member of this forum only so unless others copy and repost the precise links then they should only be on here.

Merry Christmas to all who seek justice for Madeleine, a little girl we didn't even know, and who honour the memory of Brenda Leyland who died too soon because she sought that same justice. May they both rest in peace.

The sheer monotony, predictability and mawkishness of the McCann Christmas Message has ensured that projectile vomiting has become a seasonal event.

Meanwhile, Madeleine and Brenda will never be able to enjoy another Christmas because of the evil deeds of others.
And Mr Amaral is still enduring a living hell due to of those of vicious intent.

To all those who care ... the forum posters, the bloggers, the social media folk, the archivists, the translators and those who take time to read what others have written ... I say 'thank you', and keep on keeping on.
