IT HAS BEEN DISCOVERED THAT GUM DISEASE CAN LEAD TO COLON CANCER BECAUSE A BACTERIA IMPLICATED IN GUM DISEASE CAN BE CARRIED TO THE COLON CAUSING TUMOUR.
GERMS IN GUM CAN BE CARRIED TO HEART CAUSING HEART DISEASE.
MORAL IS LOOKING AFTER GUMS CAN PREVENT DISEASE IN OTHER PARTS OF THE BODY.
