Should Sepp Blatter resign
Sepp Blatter is the supreme head of FIFA, he gets all the kudos when it's going well and of course he's been on a good salary for some time. When I was Foreman Electrician on the BOSS plant up in Teesside there was an accident on a major overhead crane which cost eventually tens of Thousands to put right. My two charge hands were responsible, I personally wasn't within a mile of the scene. I had even expressed reservations that morning that the charge hands should not have been left to their own devices, but other things demanded my attention, and I was overruled. The next morning of course was different, I was the man and I ultimately received a warning. The engineer even saying how grossly unfair it was but then I was supposed to be the man in charge, and so I carried the can. Just as I got the pats on the back when my guys did something right.
Why is it that Sepp Blatter can say he couldn't monitor everyone all the time and therefore it is nothing to do with him. Just as with me,, that time, and in fact all the others who have been in charge when the s--t hit the fan. why should Blatter be any different.? he should go, and go now.

Yes old son I have seen those as well. I still say that as the man at the top he must accept responsibility just as he has always accepted the plaudits when things went right. The number of TCN's (Third country Nationals) who have died building the various stadia and arenas is to say the lest shocking. With all their wealth the concept of human life doesn't seem to mean much. Unless of course it is their life we are talking about.

That is my understanding as well he is effectively resigning around Christmas. Unless by contract he has to give 6 months notice, I find it very peculiar. I don't actually follow soccer, even my home team of Middlesbrough. Although I do like American football. When I went to work for ARAMCO, I was told they had their own radio and TV stations. Perfectly true but the TV was almost solid Baseball, or football. I regularly fell asleep in front of the box, and Baseball I just do not understand. Gradually though I began to realise that football is not all brute force and ignorance. There is actually a great deal of skill involved. Last time we went to visit our daughter in Texas we went to a Houston oilers game, and That was really something. Houston won with literally one second to spare.
