the reason i say this is  because there isa new book on amazon by    A  kate mcann but i  think they could be diffrent  authors and  everybody is saying kate mcann herself  wrote it? what do you guys  think??

What is happening here, God only knows... Yet more intrigue surrounding the family McCann.

How very strange.....

I've read the sample page of that book. The story is set in small town USA and is very much about small town USA lifestyle and culture and I am quite sure that Kate McCann of Rothley did not write it. I don't know why the sudden interest when the novella was published last year in the USA.

It was self-published in America.

It has nothing to do with our delightful Kate.

I agree. If, as some on Facebook seem to think, Kate McCann of Rothley wrote that drivel for the purposes of making money, she'd surely have published in the UK where there would be a better market for any book she wrote. It's badly written, sentimental drivel and I don't think even Kate McCann of missing child notoriety would sink that low!

I'm sure that she wouldn't have had any problem in finding a publisher in the U K and the tabloids would have been falling over themselves in order to serialise it.

I agree. Whatever she put her name to would have found a publisher willing to throw a big advance at her and there would have been a bidding war with the tabloids to at least print some extracts.

I've often thought she should have won the Pulitzer Prize for FICTION for the book she did write.
