Madeleine McCann detective: We still hope to find her alive - Evening Standard

The statement is quoted as coming from the head of the Yard's "homicide" squad who are pursuing "justifiable and reasonable" leads in the investigation. His further statement also includes reference to "if she has been murdered..........". They still don't have a "full understanding" of what happened to Madeleine and it looks like the investigation could continue even further because every six months they go back to the Home Office and as for more money.

The article concludes with a statement from "a spokesman for the McCanns" about how grateful the McCanns are - I guess Clarence Mitchell is back from Australia.

It's a headline story in The Mirror Online also.. they must be experiencing some difficulty to raise their holiday funds for this year....At least it takes Cameron's and Osborne's EU lies out of our face if only for a day....
