Three 'key' burglar suspects are questioned over Madeleine McCann - Daily Star
Jerry Lawton is at it again - "Brit police are convinced they know what happened to Madeleine McCann - and believe they spoke to her attacker". The Star names the three "suspects".
Nothing new here just the usual - the burglars dunnit - I was wondering if they could come up with something new as we approach the ninth anniversary but I guess we are stuck with this, plus Kate's talk about another age progression picture.
I worry about the affect all this has on the twins - it has to be messing with their heads.

Police identify three prime suspects for abduction of Madeleine McCann following analysis of mobile phone data Daily Mail
Data suggests a burglary gang was operating near time of disappearance
Suspects made an 'unusually high' number of calls hours after Maddie was reported missing
Police believe thieves carried out one raid in resort, disturbing a child
Portuguese police attached no significance to the break-in days before
British detectives described oversight as a 'disgrace'
'Main line of inquiry' suggests burglars panicked and kidnapped Maddie...." etc etc
Why they keep recycling this s***?

The Mirror on Line is rehashing the same carp
Madeleine McCann 'abducted during botched burglary after disturbing thieves who broke into holiday home'

Only a handful of detectives are still assigned to the investigation, but the new evidence could give them renewed hope they can solve the mystery of the missing girl
PAMadeleine McCannPolice are following the last line of enquiry into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann
Madeleine McCann was abducted during a botched burglary after she disturbed thieves who broke into her family's holiday home, it has been claimed.
The latest rumours come after Met Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe announced cops have one final line of enquiry to pursue before the case is wound up.
Only a handful of detectives are still assigned to the investigation, but the new theory could give them renewed hope they can solve the mystery of the missing girl.
According to The Daily Star, the three-year-old was snatched after disrupting thieves who had broken into her family's holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal.
Cops believe the three arguidos - formal suspects - could be key to cracking the case.
PAMadeleine McCannMadeleine McCann has been missing since May 2007
Reports say the suspects have already been quizzed by cops at least twice.
They are alleged to have made a number of phone calls to each other nearby the holiday home at the time of the tot's disappearance in May 2007.
According to The Daily Star, a source said: "This remaining lead is thought to be key."
One of the suspects made no mention of the calls or texts when he was questioned by police in 2007.

One of the suspects is alleged to have collected cash for a non-existent orphanage just 100m from the McCanns’ apartment at 4pm on the day Madeleine, then three, disappeared.
Criminal psychologist Heriberto Janosch González says he tipped off police about the three suspects in 2013.
He said: "I view the events not as a kidnapping but as a theft that escalated."
Despite a high-profile hunt involving UK and Portuguese police, no trace of the tot has ever been found.
Speaking on radio station LBC Sir Bernard admitted Operation Grange, which began four years ago, was coming to an end.
The Met Commissioner said: "There’s been a lot of investigation time spent on this terrible case. It’s a child who went missing.
"Everybody wants to know if she is alive and, if she is, where is she?
"And sadly if she’s dead then we need to give some comfort to the family."
PAMadeleine McCannMadeleine McCann could have been snatched by thieves, according to new information
But it is believed to be a possible link between a series of burglaries in Praia da Luz around the time Madeleine vanished.
Operation Grange was launched in 2011 following widespread criticism of the bungled Portuguese police investigation.
But detectives have made no arrests despite investigating 60 people of interest and taking over 1,300 statements.
Officers also investigated 560 lines of enquiry and even dug up parts of Praia da Luz in 2014 in a search for clues.
There have been nearly 9,000 reported sightings of Madeleine around the world since her disappearance.

Re: Three 'key' burglar suspects are questioned over Madeleine McCann - Daily Star
It comes to something when the Mirror has to cite the Daily Star as its source.
Given the four years of the SY investigation if this is really plausible how come they haven't been arrested already or can we expect the case to be declared "solved" but prosecution impossible because of lack of evidence..

You're probably right with the potential case outcome Chris. IMO the media see column inches on the McCanns being wasted when they could be squeezing extra revenue from adverts... Why throw money away on a reporter's salary when they can pool these 'scoops' which, as we all know are regurgitated faeces.

The Sun is at it too - "Revealed: Brit cops 'know who snatched Maddie' - and think they have questioned him already". Comments are being allowed - only seven so far, including this one "b i u s l h i t re-arrange these letters to spell a well known word".
After the Hillsborough verdict I would have hoped The Sun had at last learned a lesson - but I guess the show must go on.

That's a contradiction in term.
If police know who it is, then they will know if they have already questioned him.
Bullshit is certainly the word.
