It's ridiculous that more money should be thrown at this. They have spent 10 years and north of 11 million to find what. Nothing. Because there is nothing to find. The parents are well aware of what happened. They are protected. Time the british public stood up and said enough is enough. Endless funds haven't been used to look for Claudia Lawrence. They didn't for Suzy Lamplugh. there have been dozens of missing persons none of whom have had the limelight like this case.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a revolution considering what has already been spent by the British taxpayers.

It's time for a line to be drawn under the funding from the public purse for continued police investigations into Madeleine's disappearance. There has been no evidence found despite The Home Office's £12 million injection, which conflicts with that presented by Sr Amaral's original investigation.

It is absolutely disgraceful that even more tax payers money is going to be thrown at this pair. How many more people will have their lives thrown into turmoil again with false accusations. What is so special about this pair that they snap their fingers and even the government jumps? This case has been smelling since day one and all these years later the stench never fades.
