I don't think the McCanns story is interesting to people any more. I don't see them as being that marketable now. Plus they blew it going on Oprah.

John Walsh's story was different - in a big way - the body was found and it was clear the parents weren't involved.

However, I do recall John Walsh supported the McCanns on his website!

Pennylane, I agree, the donations to the Fund have all but ceased and the "backers" Clarence talks about
are the Fund........the 1000 day bash only raised £90,000 and much of that was probably spent by the Charities
guests. Obviously the visit to the US and being on Oprah"s show was to drum up financial support and I am
certain they would have been paid despite what Clarence said.
