Gerry on phone apparantly snatched by Paedophiles. old article

The McCanns in the early days in PDL, clearly devastated over the loss of their daughter but comforted by the Paypal donations flooding in and their "online shop".

Gerry loudmouth McCann, wishes the worst for his daughter within just a few hours of her er apparently being snatched by a network of paedophiles. The files reveal a British tourist overheard him actually saying this on his mobile. Was he out looking for her, no of course not, he was glued to his mobile setting his sickening money spinning schemes into action. Was Kate out looking for her, no she was not as she confessed in the original interview with Jane Hill, BBC. She sat on her bed on her mobile and of course they had to prepare a script of what each member of the TAPAS would say, again, as she told Jane Hill, they were very busy. How weird Gerry just happened to have some large prints of Madeleine handy to give to the police at 2 am, where did those just come from!! But no doubt the best for the gruesome twosome as they seek to cover her death and rake in a load of cash with their disgusting claims. Even 15 months later, the couple from hell, who simply have no shame, persist with their repulsive claims. Of course he does not wish to comment on the clear evidence that Madeleine died in their apartment, well why not Mr Loudmouth? Why don't you blog about that, we would all be keen to hear your comments/.

This report also mentions details of concerns being expressed in the investigation about David Payne having an unnatural interest in children. I remain absolutely convinced the British Police and all other agencies working on this case will not be filing this case. I believe they have quite naturally taken over this serious investigation from the Portuguese authorities and a great deal of the information they gleaned from the investigation has not been made public, for very good reason, because it continues to be investigated. I say this to the McCanns, you know your daughter is dead, we know your daughter is dead and we are sick of your lies and cashing in on her death. It is time to start telling the truth or just shutting up and crawling under a stone, where you belong.

It's true, he was overheard on his phone only hours afterwards shouting that she had been abducted by paedos. I forget where I saw this but I think it might be in the rogs somewhere. It's not a new piece of information.

That's why they were out jogging up hills in 19 minutes. They were looking for paedos, obviously.

There is, of course, no evidence at all that she has come to any harm.

It was later that evening around 10 – 11 that I heard a commotion on the complex, I decided to go out and see what was going on. I walked round a saw a group of people gathered. John Hill the resort manager was there with some of the Mark Warner staff. I heard that a little girl called Maddie was missing, at that point I did not realise which child it was. John Hill was organising a search of the complex as it was thought that she had wandered off at that point in time. I let (my wife) know what was going on and went to join the search. I went to search the area around the back of our apartment where there is a little garden with a big palm tree in the middle. I was looking in the shrubbery and the little gardens to the apartments.

I worked my way around the area, eventually coming around the back of the tennis courts and up towards what I now know to be the McCanns apartment a couple of hours later. I was looking in the little gardens on the poolside of that block, I was in the end garden when I heard a male voice, he sounded distraught his voice cracking with emotion. I looked to see who I now know to be Gerry McCann stood above me on the balcony/patio about 3 metres away speaking on a mobile phone. I cannot recall his exact words but I got the impression that he was speaking to perhaps a family member or someone he was very close to due to the nature of his conversation.

He said something along the lines of there being Paedophile gangs in Portugal and that they had abducted Madeleine. I was so shocked by this, having originally thought that she had just wandered off.
I had looked up by now and we actually made eye contact, his conversation did not change at all when he realised that I was there. I felt as if I were intruding on a private moment and so I left the garden at that point.


edit to add; the gang became 'a couple' the following day when KM was approached by Yvonne Martin.

I haven't seen that particluar photo before.

I cannot believe their expressions. They are not the faces of parents worried their missing child is being abused by paedophiles.

They make me sick. They are not normal - not by a long shot. I have never seen the parents of a truly missing child react like this so soon after the abduction.

I truly believe that look of glee is them being delighted people were believing their lies and paying through tne nose to prove it.

I agree, those are "hey we've won the lottery" smiles, they look so damned happy. Anyone shown that photo and not knowing the circumstances would never in a million years believe this couple had just lost their child.

They had probably just had an update on how much was in the fund and told their mortgage was paid out of the proceeds. Definitely not the faces of a couple grieving over the loss of their daughter.

Looks just like a holiday snap. Happy, carefree, enjoying a joke and Kate looks, sorry, pretty. Certainly if you showed that photograph to a person who had never heard of this case and ask them what they thought it was, there is absolutely no way they would say they had had their daughter abducted by either a childless couple and certainly not a paedo.

You will note that she has a "Maddie" badge on her HIP, it's pinned to her skirt, and not her T-shirt. Perhaps she doesn't want to ruin her T-shirt by making holes in it with the badge. She disgusts me.

Can't remember how soon they had the wristbands developed... but this little group had already returned to the UK and then came back to Portugal (when this photo was taken) to have the confrontation with Robert Murat at the police station.

Interesting that Graham overhears Gerry McCann on the phone between 10 and 11pm as apparently Gerry didn't make any calls that evening till 11.14pm and then possibly only to Kate as call times coincide. So was he really on the phone or just getting the word out. That would make sense of this "I had looked up by now and we actually made eye contact, his conversation did not change at all when he realised that I was there"

If that"s the photo of the McCanns coming out of the Church on Madeleiene"s 4th Birthday, that is 12 days after her disappearance..

Did Gerry have that T shirt especially made for the Occasion, or was it one that would be on sale? Since it took 12 days to set up the Company, Order the Merchandise and have the Website and Paypal ready........how did he manage it?

Is it actually documented that he made no calls? I don't believe this at all. There is no way he would leave it an hour and 15 mins from the moment his daughter was allegedly missing to use the phone.

If it is the unbelievable case that he did NOT use his phone, then maybe this was a deliberate fake phonecall to no-one to get the local rumour mill spilling - let people locally think Madeleine was abducted by a paedo and get the word spreading asap before any suspicion fell on them.

Surely if he was having a private conversation he'd have been shocked he was being listened to. Why are there no records till 11.14pm? Is that bwecause Gerry wiped all calls and they can not be traced. I don't believe he did not use his phone.

Interesting point about the badge on the hip. Why put it where it is less likely to be seen? I am also presuming that after applying her jewellry and makeup she did not want to 'pull' her t-shirt with the badge clasp.

In Gerry's blog 4th June 2007, he writes:

"As well as some reports from Crimewatch, you may see a picture of me in a green and yellow find Madeleine t-shirt in tomorrow’s paper. The t-shirts were brought over by Phil and later on I thought better about wearing it around the resort she was taken from."

On 20th May he states that they have friends and close family staying with them... so I'm guessing the t-shirt had already been in his possession for some time.

So can we assume these were the ones on Sale ? Maybe the one Gerry wore was the prototype to go on sale and if the photo outside the Church IS to Celebrate Madeleine"s Birthday, the whole setting up of the Copmany was done with the speed of light. How could anyone
know Madeleine would not be found in the interim.?

The question is WHY do it within days when the awful likelihood is if she was abducted, her body would be found soon enough.

And why would he have to think about wearing the t-shirt promotingf Madeleine - it should have been a given.

I remember reading somewhere that Gerry said he didn't want to spoil the holiday of other people by reminding them of Madeleine
all the time... but I don't think he was referring to t-shirts when he said that!
Personally, by the look on his face in the above photo... I would hazard a guess that he simply disliked that particular t-shirt and the thought of
having to wear it.

Hi Panda. They are certainly wearing the wristbands so they must have been available the tee shirt I suppose could have been a one off just for him, but doubt that. There is the eye, that turned out to be only marked with a fleck and a telephone number and this looks professional art work. 12 days after Madeleine's official "abduction" date. They certainly knew she wasn't going to be found, alive or dead imo as all this merchandise would have been wasted.
They really must think, or thought, that we are daft.
