I was browsing ebay and saw Kate's book advertised for sale @99p with £3.95 postage. The following is a description:-

Author Biography

Kate and Gerry McCann established Madeleine's Fund: Leaving No Stone Unturned in 2007, to enable them to continue the search for their daughter, who was abducted in Praia da Luz, Portugal on Thursday, 3 May 2007. As there is now no law-enforcement agency in the world actively looking for Madeleine, the fund enables a small team of very committed and experienced people to investigate Madeleine's disappearance. It also runs awareness campaigns in several countries, to ensure the public know that Madeleine is still missing, and to encourage them to remain vigilant. There is no evidence to suggest that Madeleine has been harmed and it is therefore vital to keep looking for her and those who took her. It is for this reason that all royalties earned from the sales of this book will be donated to Madeleine's Fund. The directors of the company are Michael Linnett, Edward Smethurst, Jon Corner, Kate and Gerry McCann and Kate's uncle, Brian Kennedy. Once Madeleine has been found the fund will be used to assist searches for other missing children worldwide.

Hi AnnaEsse, what on earth do they think they are doing, writing rubbish like this, what has Directors names got to do with it? How can Kate say no one is searching for Madeleine when they themselves are supposed to be using the money

Oh I can't wait for the day those two are seen for what they are.....I hope I'm still alive when this happens.

On the first page of Madeleine books I found, there are 'Buy it now,' offers at 0.99p and only one of the auction ones has a bid: one bid with 39 minutes remaining. There's one auction, with no bids, starting at 10p.

That's quite sad really. Not for Kate McCann, but for Madeleine, whose life seems to have been reduced to a tacky book written by her mother that even at 10p there are no bids for.

when you read that Biography you realise just how arrogant the McCanns have become. First of all they should never have criticised the Portugese , their Police spent about £2 million searching for Madeleine , Leicester Police well over £ 1 million , no SY over £3 million yet they still expect the Public to do their bit , they really are insufferable.

Her book was to pay for legal fees and when people who believe the mccanns Wake up and smell the coffee, which by the way some are, then the money will stop rolling in and they will scuttle away like the worms they are but all the time they are making money they will be IN OUR FACES, why not, it's a business to them ...money making business...



I do believe it is also for the twins BUT not for the reasons she is talking about, it's to make them look like they did everything and are innocent....that's it.

Thanks for that Almost Gothic - most interesting. Whatever can have happened to turn Justine against her heroes?

On second thoughts, perhaps it's just the way my mind works but she could be talking about someone in her private life, the departure of whom has made her lose the will to continue with her McCann campaign.

It may well be down to personal angst - but after all her pro antics and her eagerness to assist the Scum with its 'Shop A Troll' campaign, I'm not about to waste any sympathy.

Every bad deed has its payback.

I assume Justine spencer is Justine McGuiness and would agree her Bill is excessive. Apparently she was often drinking
with the Reporters and telling them more than she should. I do wonder who recommended her to the McCanns .

I'm talking about the official Facebook page where she writes or speaks for the mccanns......she has jumped ship.

Gurney is really quite comical. When challenged she just resorts to self-righteous twaddle rather than give an opinion based on the police files.

Morning Bobsy......I wish I shared your optimism that the McCanns would end up in Jail. If they by some miracle
do , expect another Book from Kate about her experience inside HM Prison.

What on earth could she find to write in this new book......how can you write about things that havent happened yet....will it be about the non digging off murats backyard etc and the 'no evidence off Madeleine coming to any harm'

It's supposed to be about the way their lives have changed, how hard they tried and left NSU to find Madeleine. I suspect it will say with heavy hearts they are closing the Fund , the groundwork has been laid for NSU to concentrate
on making money from Seminars about missing children, producing DVD's on how to search for missing children (true,
it's in the recent M & A Special Resolution). Kate has already created a high profile by being appointed Ambassador
for missing children......clever move that.

She'll possibly write the book based on her most recent diary entries.

"Well, another day and no sign of Maddie. That means there's still no evidence that she has come to any harm. Better get that half tin of beans out of the fridge because Gerry's due back any minute and he's going to expect some dinner. I'm such a busy wife as well as being a famous writer. Gonna write another book now about cooking for busy authors."
