Restart their lives? When did their lives stop? As far as I can see, there was what seemed to be to them a little blip when their daughter disappeared. Fairly soon, they were jogging, Kate was having her hair done, she was sleeping well and they were off to see the Pope in beautiful new clothes. Restart what?

Quite..........restart what exactly? Since the disappearance of that poor child her parents seem to have made a wonderful life for themselves. Travelling the world, appearing on TV and radio, writing books, becoming famous (for all the wrong reasons), still living in their big house, the one they were going to sell but used money from well-wishers instead to pay the mortgage, made themselves a lot of money, and still wanting to make more, in my opinion at least, now, today, they are popping up on TV so often my OH has switched it off. I think everyone is now completely sick of seeing this pair on TV and in every paper. I believe very few people believe all the PR spin any more and many, many people are asking just what it is that this awful couple have that ensures this rubbish keeps going on and on and just why the government is so involved. Restart their lives indeed...........that poor child's disappearance has ensured they will never have to worry about money ever again. Whether they will ever have to worry about their consciences is quite another matter.

The twins will only have normality in their lives when their family's name is not all over the front pages because their parents are trying to sue a Portuguese Policeman. Not going to Dancing on Ice, or whatever it was, was depriving the twins needlessly because surely if the McCanns themselves did not want to be seen laughing and enjoying themselves (unlike in the early days) their grandparents could have taken them. Susan Healy doesn't once mention that leaving little children alone is far from normality either. So, the twins missed a night's entertainment all because their parents do not want to be seen laughing in public. Even more selfish behaviour imo.

Must admit that I haven't heard anything negative about DW's mothering abilities. I know she had severe post-natal depression with her first child but that's not her fault.

I'm not for a moment suggesting her post natal depression was her own fault. I'm not that stupid. I was thinking more about the amount of times I've seen pics of her galavanting about with her new husband, no sign of her youngest child, who is only a little older than my son.
