Where's Maddie?

This is a screengrab of a video on YouTube by someone called Sharon1110rakker, who would appear to be a McCann supporter. It was uploaded in 2008.

This lady specialises in making movies about missing children and seems to have had access to McCann family videos.

But if you look at this video at around 3:15 - where's Maddie?

Something has been altered - either this video, or the "last photo".

BIG implications if it is the latter.

It would be an extraordinary mistake for a mccann supporter to make such a mistake,but there it is for all to see,Maddie is not in the pool photo !

Sadly I cannot claim credit for it Lioned, somebody on Twitter found it. It actually looks to me as though it is the video that is altered - but why? This is a supporter who claims to have made this YouTube clip for the twins? The rest of the text etc seems to show that they are supporting the parents. But what would their motive be for photoshopping out Maddie?

Of course, the alternative - being that it is the pool picture that has been altered - doesn't warrant thinking about. It opens up a whole new timeline, for starters.

There are various versions of this photo on the Internet just to show how easy it is to change images around if you know how - for example, Madeleine over on the left or not there at all.

I think that it's likely that whoever made this video simply put this one in by mistake.

true - if none of those who saw MM at the crèche at 530 when her parents picked her up actually saw her then or during that afternoon.

Without Madeleine, the above photo is a perfectly balanced holiday snap, with the two people centred. With Madeleine, it's off balance and why would someone take a holiday photo with white plastic deck chairs as a feature filling around 25% of the space?

Maybe because of where the sun was - to not have it shining in your eyes from facing the people straight on - people don't line up photos like we did back when you had to buy and pay to process film anyway. Now you can snap away off smart phone or digital camera and don't have to be particular about lining up shots.

We here can all understand the reasoning behind inserting Madeleine's image into this photo, but not taking her out... Why would someone, especially a 'pro', do this? Unless of course it's a 'pro' who has finally 'seen the light' and put the original image on the net......

They didn't give much indication right from the start that they missed her......

Re the odd "last photo" someone has suggested on another forum that perhaps it was taken in late May - when the weather was much warmer - and an image of Madeleine added in.

That would explain why it wasn't produced until late May and after Gerry had made a trip back to the U K.

But to compile a video like this one takes an awful lot of time, editing etc.,

You have to do it almost frame by frame effectively.

Was this 'image' inserted diliberately?

To draw attention to the video composers 'agenda'................other tragic cases?

The 'supposed' last photo was released after a three week 'delay' on 24th May 2007.

So the person who 'made' this video would have been fully aware of that.

Why the frame with Madeleine 'missing' is included is frankly anybody's guess.

Maybe, just maybe, somebody, close to the holidaying party, has finally 'allowed' (consciously) somebody to gradually get 'portrayed' something they have diliberately witheld til about now.

SY/Met getting 'to close'?

Who knows?

BUT, definitely not a 'mistake' (from a supposedly McCann 'supporter')

Theres a large patch to the bottom right hand corner which is lighter than the rest of the floor/wall and it's where someone has photoshopped Maddie out. You can clearly see a line between the light and dark patches above that little clock in the frame.

What caught my eye was the two coping stones on top of the wall at the extreme right hand side. They're identical - they've been cloned. That would suggest that Maddie (or something else) has been photoshopped out. I just don't get why, in a video made by a supporter, "about Madeleine for Sean and Amélie".
