Red Bearded Chechen fighter is face of ISIS Empty Another lurch to global terror

Post  katertaif Thu 3 Jul - 23:01

The news bulletins are full of it. The terror groups are it seems getting together to plan more effective atrocities.

Meanwhile the newscasters get so called Islamic experts on to tell us what it means, or apologists, not Muslims themselves but trying to rationalise it.

There are essentially only two arguments they trot out. The first one being that thee are only a very few of them so no need to worry unduly. Secondly look at what someone (usually Israel) is doing to us so it's no wonder is it?

Neither excuse (they aren't arguments) holds any water. There are far more than just a very few of them. There are enough to stretch the security services of the world to breaking point. As for the second, when did two wrongs start making a right? Yes, there are Muslims being killed and no one in their right minds would condone that. there are however far more Christians being killed, and the women and girls raped in utterly barbaric ways. To forget about all those incidents such as those poor girls in Nigeria is just wilfully and deliberately trying to justify what the terrorists are doing.

On this evening's news one of them, a former advisor to the British government no less, attempted to justify people going over to fight for ISIS, al Queda al Shabaab etc. etc. Pooh poohing the extreme probability of them coming back and unleashing what they call their new skills on an innocent populace. Some advisor. Must have been well in with Blair.

The situation is far more dangerous for many reasons now than it was only a year ago, and rapidly escalating. Time to take our heads out of the sand.

Katertaif, does anyone really know who these new Terrorists are??? There was enough confusion trying to identify terrorist groups in Afghanistan, now we have all these newbies operating from different Countries . The casualty list is horrendous, as is the destruction of Cities and the Refugee crisis...where will it all end?

Good morning Panda

It depends which ones we are talking about. There are so many of them now. if you mean the group calling itself ISIS (Now IS) I understand they are an offshoot of al Quaeda who became too radical even for them. Personally I cannot imagine a group of - I suppose we have to call them people - who could mastermind such an atrocity as 9/11 among other things yet consider this ISIS to be too radical.

Therein lies the clue. They claim to be a unified religion, yet all these differing groups have different interpretations of certain passages in the Qur'an, and base their atrocities and mass killings on their own particular interpretation. They can't all be right of course, yet when any of them, or their apologists are interviewed, it's always the same tale. There are only a very few of them, the majority of Muslims are peace loving etc. etc. look at the way Muslims are being persecuted. never any mention of, or condemnation of any particular barbaric group.

I think  it is a very sinister turn that some at least of these groups are co-operating with each other  with one aim, to kill as many of us as they can. This being pleasing to their deity. As for where it will all end, it gives me no pleasure to say, I believe it will get a great deal worse in the near future. They are constantly plotting more and greater atrocities and they only have to get lucky now and again.

The fact that the U.K has an opendoor Policy on illegals, come one come all , doesn't help. The Border Agency is useless as is the checks on Container Lorries coming into Britain. I think it would be quite easy to patrol our shores , replace Border Agency with our troops who have been made redundant .
There should be an immediate ban on immigrants and University Students must show visas and their University Entrance confirmation. I was in a taxi the other day and the Driver was Muslim , dressed as a Muslim but was born in the U.K. We had a good chat and he said the British Government is not doing anywhere near enough to combat the problem. He was educated in an ordinary school and thinks this idea of Muslims having their own schools is totally wrong .

The trouble with the border agency is that they have to obey the law (the law laid down by the same people in Parliament who have the open door policy) That's why, when they come across an illegal immigrant, they have to release them almost immediately, and they know that. As for why they want to come here in such numbers, we all know why, but the apologists will not have it. stop the benefits is the easiest answer, Make them live on their own earnings or what they brought with them. they will soon stop coming..

They are killing the golden goose, and totally uncaring about it. Take just one example. The daughter of a Nigerian woman eventually arrived in the UK and claimed asylum, after crossing several safe countries. her mother tried to claim compensation, on the grounds that her daughter was traumatised by such a long arduous journey. several aspects of that spring straight to mind. why did the Mother come over here on her own in the first place?, leaving her daughter behind? Doesn't sound to me as if anyone was in fear of their lives. If the daughter was genuine she would have sought asylum in the first safe country she came to. not kept on going till she got here. Instead of compensation, she should have been presented with two tickets to Lagos, or Abuja.

There are literally thousands of like cases. as for student applications. Likewise bogus colleges and bogus students can be identified and shipped out. In many cases the laws exist to allow us to do it. It is the will that is lacking. We are a laughing stock in the world. Unfortunately the numbers are already here, and it is only a matter of time.

BTW, I have had Muslims tell me they don't agree with it all. Some of them may even be telling the truth. given that the prophet told them that it is permissible, even encouraged to lie to advance Islam, you never know. There are so many of them simply trying to divert attention from what is really happening.

I think allowing Muslim Schools is a big mistake. Whereas Catholics and Protestants in the U.K. speak English , the Muslim Schools do not, so there is no way that Muslim children will mix with non Muslim Children , as the children reach teenage , that's when the aggression starts.

Good morning Panda

I think you are right, for a couple of reasons. I was brought up a Roman Catholic. We were taught that we were the only ones right and everyone else was wrong, (or shall we say misguided) So far that is no real different from the Muslim faith school. except that we were not taught that everyone else is automatically going to be tortured forever in Hell. Mainstream Muslims are taught that (it's in the Qur'an so it must be true must it not) Even the type of torment is specified.

Islam is essentially an Arabic religion, and all prayers etc, are in Arabic. It's even an article of faith that you cannot fully understand the Qur'an unless you can read it,(and of course understand it) in Arabic. so there again is another difference. Some would say a very major one. The Saudis spend millions providing text books for English and European schools in Arabic.

Then we have the loyalty aspect. whatever I was taught at school as far as religion went (I have since come to the conclusion that it was my teachers who were misguided) I was taught allegiance to the Monarch, and my country. as was everyone else. There is considerable doubt about the loyalty question in the case of Muslim faith schools. At least in a good number of them. these people are not suddenly waking up one fine morning as extremist war mongers. The Mosques are an integral part of teaching as is every place of worship. whether they are getting it through mainstream school or a Mosque, the answer comes out the same.

Red Bearded Chechen fighter is face of ISIS Empty Re: Red Bearded Chechen fighter is face of ISIS

The 'wonderful' bible:

Genesis
GENESIS 34:13 Shechem had premarital sex with Jacob’s daughter Dinah, which angered Jacob’s sons. Shechem and his father, Hamor, agreed to circumcision for the men in the city in order for Shechem to marry Dinah and make Jacob’s other daughters eligible for the men of the city. Three days later, while the men were still enduring the pain of circumcision, Jacob’s sons attacked the unsuspecting city, killing Shechem and Hamor with swords, looting the city, seizing the flocks, herds, possessions and wealth, plundering the houses and carrying off their women and children.

GENESIS 6 & 7 Unhappy with the wickedness of man, God killed every living thing on the planet except Noah’s family. Men, women, infants and animals drowned in unimaginable terror and agony.

GENESIS 19:6- In Sodom, Lot’s home was assaulted by a homosexual mob seeking to have relations with two angels. Lot volunteered his virgin daughters to the crowd, saying "you can do what you like with them" as long as the guests are left alone. After offering his children to be raped, Lot was then appointed by God as worthy of rescue from Sodom’s destruction.

GENESIS 19:26: God, still unfazed by the proposed rape of Lot’s virgin daughters, turned Lot’s wife into a pillar of salt for the heinous crime of looking over her shoulder.

GENESIS 38: 8-10 – Onan was instructed by Judah to lay with his brother’s wife to produce offspring for his brother (who was put to death by God for wickedness). Onan slept with his brother’s wife but "spilled his semen on the ground to keep from producing offspring for his brother" (NIV). God found this wicked, so God killed him.

EXODUS 8:16 God sent a plague of gnats.

EXODUS 8:24 God sent a swarm of flies.

EXODUS 21:20-21 According to God’s law, it was wrong to beat a slave to the point of death. But if the slave survived and got back up within a few days, the beating wasn’t punishable, because the slave was the property of the master. (God endorsed slavery and the beating of slaves.)

EXODUS 32:27 After seeing the golden calf, God commanded the Levites, "Each man strap a sword to his side. Go back and forth through the camp from one end to the other, each killing his brother and friend and neighbor." 3,000 were slaughtered, and God was pleased.

1 KINGS 2:29-34 Solomon killed Joab.

1 KINGS 13-15-24 A prophet lied to a man, telling him it was fine to eat bread and drink water in a place the Lord had previously told him not to. The deceived man ate and drank there. God sent a lion to kill him, "and his body was thrown down on the road."

1 KINGS 20:29-30 The Israelites fought the Syrians. Enemy body count for a single day = 100,000. A wall fell on the 27,000 remaining people.

2 KINGS 6:18-19 The enemy came toward Elisha, and he prayed to God, "Strike these people with blindness." God made them blind. Elisha then tricked them and led them to Samaria, where God opened their eyes again.

2 KINGS 6:29 A woman cried out to the king of Israel, lamenting a great famine. She was upset because she had agreed to cook her son and eat him, but after the deed, another woman had refused to do the same.

2 KINGS 9:24 Jehu tricked Joram, then murdered him with a bow and arrow, piercing his heart.

2 KINGS 9:27 Jehu ordered his men to kill Ahaziah, king of Judah.

2 KINGS 9:30-37 Jehu had Jezebel killed. Horses trampled her and her blood splattered the wall. Dogs ate her flesh and her remains were called "refuse" (trash).

2 KINGS 10:7 Jehu had Ahab’s 70 sons beheaded. He then sent the heads to their grieving father.

2 KINGS 10:14 Jehu ordered the death of Ahab’s family…42 people.

2 KINGS 10:17 According to God’s word (spoken to Elijah), Jehu went to Samaria and "killed all who were left there of Ahab’s family; he destroyed them…"

2 KINGS 10:19-27 Jehu trapped the Baal worshippers in the temple. He then told the guards, "Go in and kill them; let no one escape." They slaughtered the worshippers and burned down the temple, using it as a latrine from that day forward.

2 KINGS 11:1 Athaliah destroyed the royal family.

2 KINGS 14:5 Amaziah executeed the officials who murdered his father.

2 KINGS 14:3-5 God was unhappy with Azariah, even though he had done what was right in the eyes of the Lord. The high places had not been removed, and God was jealous of their sacrifices on that altar. So God afflicted Azariah with leprosy as punishment.

2 KINGS 15:16 Menahem attacked the city of Tiphsah. He destroyed the town and "ripped open all of the pregnant women."

2 KINGS 19:35 An angel of the Lord killed 185,000 men in the Assyrian camp.

2 Chronicles

2 CHRONICLES 13:17 God delivered the Israelites to Abijah and Judah. 500,000 enemy dead.

2 CHRONICLES 21:4 Jehoram killed all of his brothers, and some of the princes of Israel...put to death by sword.

Isaiah

ISAIAH 13:15 Isaiah saw a prophecy regarding Babylon. "Whoever is captured will be thrust through; all who are caught will fall by the sword. Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives ravished."

ISAIAH 13:18 God’s punishment for Babylon was further described. "Their bows will strike down the young men; they will have no mercy on infants, nor will they look with compassion on children."

ISAIAH 14:21-23 "Prepare a place to slaughter his sons for the sins of their forefathers; they are not to rise to inherit the land and cover the earth with their cities. ‘I will rise up against them,’ declares the Lord Almighty."

ISAIAH 49:26 God’s punishment on those who came against Israel. "I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh; they will be be drunk on their own blood, as with wine. Then all mankind will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior…"

Jeremiah

JEREMIAH 16:4 The word of the Lord about the children born in this land says "They will die of deadly diseases. They will not be mourned or buried but will be like refuse lying on the ground. They will perish by sword and famine, and their dead bodies will become food for the birds of the air and the bests of the earth."

Ezra

EZRA 6:12-13 Darius’ decree said that, if anyone changed his edict, "a beam is to be pulled from his house and he is to be lifted up and impaled on it." Then the house was to be demolished.

Job

JOB 1 To prove a point, God gave Satan permission to torment Job and test his righteousness. Job’s children were killed. Job’s possessions were destroyed. Job tore his clothes and shaved his head from grief.

JOB 2 God allows Satan to smite Job’s body with horrible boils "from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head." Job scraped his afflicted skin with a piece of broken pottery. His wife tells Job to "Curse God and die." Job’s friends found him unrecognizable. This is how God treats his beloved children.

Ezekiel

EZEKIEL 20:26 Israel rebelled, and God’s punishment was sobering. "I let them become defiled through their gifts- the sacrifice of every firstborn- that I might fill them with horror so they would know that I am the Lord."

EZEKIEL 23:34 God said that prostitutes would drink a cup of scorn and tear their breasts.

EZEKIEL 23:45-47 God punished adultery. "…Bring a mob against them and give them over to terror and plunder. The mob will stone them and cut them down with their swords; they will kill their sons and daughters and burn down their houses."

Hosea

HOSEA 13:16 Because Israel had rebelled, a wind from the Lord would blow in. They "will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to the ground, and their pregnant women ripped open."

(Most of our focus has been on the Old Testament, but we’ve thrown in afew New Testament zingers just to quell the "Law VS Grace" crowd.)

Matthew
MATTHEW 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." Jesus endorses the mass murder, rape, slavery, torture and incest written about in the Old Testament.

MATTHEW 8:12 Jesus warned of eternal torture in hell, "into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

MATTHEW 10:35-36 Following Jesus meant the possibility of turning a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, etc. "…a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household."

MATTHEW 11:21-24 The cities of Korazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum were not impressed with Jesus’ great works, so Jesus said "Woe to you" and cursed them to a fate more unbearable than that of Sodom.

MATTHEW 8:21 A man sought to follow Jesus, but he wanted to bury his recently deceased father before he went. Jesus replied, "Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead." Jesus ignored the man’s grief.

Mark

MARK 4:10 In Jesus’ parable of the sower, he told his disciples that he spoke to others in parables so they’d remain confused..."otherwise they might turn and be forgiven."

MARK 7:10 Jesus taught that any child who cursed his parents should be killed according to Old Testament law.

Luke

LUKE 8:32-33 Jesus cast demons out of a naked man and into a large herd of pigs. They fell over a cliff to their death. The town asked Jesus to leave.

LUKE 12:47 Jesus warned that a servant of God who does not heed his master will be "beaten with many blows."

LUKE 19:26 In the parable of the ten minas, the master (God) said of those who chose not to follow him, "...bring them here and kill them in front of me."

John

JOHN 6:53-66 Jesus said to eat his flesh and drink his blood. Despite the metaphorical tone, many disciples were uncomfortable with the idea and chose to walk away.

Acts

ACTS 5:1-9 Ananias lied about the money he’d made on sold property, keeping some for himself. God killed him, then killed his wife for being in on it.

Romans

ROMANS 1:26-27 Paul said that homosexuals deserve death.

Ephesians

EPHESIANS 1:4-5 Despite all of Jesus’ instructions to accept him as savior, Jesus also says God "predestined" those will be saved according to His pleasure.

Hebrews

HEBREWS 12:20 God said that animals must be stoned to death if they lay foot upon Mt. Zion.

1 Peter

1 PETER 1:20 Despite God’s failed experiment in the Garden of Eden, the mass execution of Noah’s flood and the final solution of Christ’s sacrifice, Jesus was predestined to be crucified all along. "He was chosen before the creation of the world,"

Revelation
REVELATION 6:8 In the End Times, God gives Death permission to slaughter 25% of the earth’s population by "sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth."

Hi Katertaif, I have noticed the increase in Muslims where I live and they have been given their own school. It is quite scary the way Britain is being overtaken.. Two of the 3 Muslims who went to Syria live not too far from me, the Government has decided to freeze their assets.....uum, what would those be , these lads live with their Parents on a Council Estate. !!!!!

You are more erudite than me, can you make any sense of Claudia's post which she must have spent a long time researching and typing.LOL

Sorry, Panda, but I mastered copy and paste by the time I was ten so no need to type all that. And if you have a question about a post of mine, you can ask me directly. I'm not the type to run away and not answer questions posed to me.
Since you didn't get it, and it's fashionable to say Islam is the religion of war and violence, I think it's pertinent to show the 'love and peace' in the Bible.

I think the dfference is Claudia that can we believe everything we read in the Bible? I was very Religious when I was younger , but when I started asking questions I couldn't accept the replies . Whereas the Barbarism now is having a Domino Effect around the World , more to do will Allah than God. I don't think life is sacrosanct in Muslim Countries .

I can only speak for myself, I don't believe zilch. That, however, doesn't mean that people don't believe it. And they do. The most horrible crimes have been committed in the name of God, Allah, etc. If you have doubts, just research the history of the Catholic church and the atrocities it was (and in part still is) responsible for. All of it in the name of entities no one knows for sure exist.
You don't think life is sacrosanct in Muslim countries? I think life isn't sacrosanct anywhere in the world. If it was, there would be no murders. If you find a place like that, let me know. I'd like to visit.
