Hamas have suffered heavily and are now trying to save face. Border crossings will never be completely opened until the area is demilitarised, and they know it. It's yet another ploy to demonise the Israelis when they refuse, as they must. Even Egypt will never agree to these terms.

I think the UN will have something to say about this Iris, Israel MUST make concessions if a ceasefire is to last more than 24 hours.

No, they must not, they don't have to do anything. It's been Hamas who have broken every single truce and cease fire, every single one without exception, up until now. Why should this latest attempt be any different.

No, they must not, they don't have to do anything.  It's been Hamas who have broken every single truce and cease fire, every single one without exception, up until now.  Why should this latest attempt be any different.

The last thing Hamas want is peace.  Whenever things quiet down, Hamas will insure it all hots up again.  They are terrorists, and they and Hezbollah make it impossible for Israel to hold a ceasefire.  They don't want them to, because their funding will dry up. Hamas don't give a stuff about their people, or their suffering.  (imo)

All personal insults will be removed as totally unacceptable. And let me add here that I am biased and in this way. I will support the civilised people.

Isreal has taken extraordinary steps to defend their people. Hamas has clearly stated that they wish to destroy Israel Panda. It might be an idea to rally find out what terrorist groups stand for before calling people biased. I agree that the death of anyone children, adults of any race or religion is appalling. that also applies to the Israelis Panda.
