I do not think that sounds very good for Goncalo.

If it is proved that Amaral intended to publish the book while the investigation was still ongoing I think the

Seriously, I think the judge will be pretty miffed with Goncalo in publishing this book and worse the documentary. I also think she will sympathise with the position of British Police.

It doesnt matter if someone writes or make a documentary during an investigation just as long it doesnt come out BEFORE that investigation has ended

No that was when it was boiling hot! The McCanns issued an application to the British High Court on 2 April 2008 to try and get their maulers on the British Police file because they were well you .....themselves.

IMHO it does not matter whether he wins or not, now. Everybody knows that the book is out there, and everybody will want to read it. Whether it is a legal copy or an internet transcript or whatever. The McScums have zero credibility left, so no more donations now, neither. They may well still "win" but it will be a Phyrric victory.

I agree that he could well not win but not on the account that the book is libellous. Because wouldn't that mean the files are libellous as well. It could go either way. But I don't think they'll get their £1 million. wishful thinking perhaps.
