ABANDONED and unloved, a Winnie the Pooh toy and a brown teddy lie gathering dust in a loft—forgotten playthings that tragic Baby P clung to for comfort in his final months.

Downstairs in the north London House of Horror is the living room —scene of the worst abuses inflicted on the tot by his vile stepdad. Against a wall facing a bay window is a blue sofa covered in crusty brown stains.

It is here the brute puffed on a cannabis joint as he held the baby face-up across his knees—and broke his fragile spine, with a sickening crack that echoed around the house. Nearby is the fireplace where Baby P was supposedly pushed by another child in April, 2007.

But that was just another lie told to the authorities to cover up his bruised head. The truth is Baby P was shoved into the hearth for his stepdad’s warped amusement

Inside the house of horror Empty Evil Mum Tried to blame me......by his father

Post  Susan Tue 25 Nov - 13:36

EXCLUSIVE

The father of tragic Baby P says the toddler's mother lied and tried to blame HIM for the child's death.

He told a relative his ex called him in tears on the day the youngster died, saying: "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."

But after she was arrested she accused him of abusing their boy.

He said he was horrified when she broke the news that his son's lifeless body had been found in a blood-splattered cot.

He told the relative: "She phoned me, weeping and saying she was sorry. It was like a confession, like she knew what she had done."

When the mother was arrested after Baby P's death in Haringey last August, she told police the abuse was carried out by the child's father - who left the family home when he found out she was having an affair.

He told the relative at the time: "She's stitching me up. She knows what she's done and she's trying to say it was me. She's trying to twist things. I loved that little boy - I would never hurt him."

The relative said of Baby P's father: "It was easily the worst time of his life. Not only did he have to cope with losing his lad but now he had all this mud slung at him."

The last time he saw his son was on July 30, 2007 - four days before Baby P died - when the child stretched out his arms and yelled: "Daddy, Daddy."

The relative added: "If only we had known at the time why the little boy was so desperate to be with his daddy."

Baby P's mother, 27, her boyfriend, 32, and their lodger Jason Owen, 36, are awaiting sentence for causing or allowing him to die.

The boyfriend of Baby P's mother is on suicide watch in Belmarsh prison. He is segregated from other prisoners for his own safety after threats to kill him.

Lodger Owen has been moved to Wandsworth prison from Brixton where he was attacked by inmates who left him bruised and scratched.

Four days before his son died this so called father saw him and thought everything was okay. Strange man, obviously he did not have contact where a father holds his son and cuddle him and take him on the swings on the park the usual things fathers do with their children.

He must have been questioned about this abuse if the mum tried to blame him so he knew it was happening.

Totally agree Lincs and Alpha. Good points. How this father never noticed his bruises, the head lice, the missing fingernails I'll never know.

Mamy of this extended family must have turned a blind eye to this little child's plight.

How could you turn a blind eye to something like this, I wouldnt care if it was my own sister or brother that was doing this to a child I would report them. ANYONE TO LAY A HAND ON SOMEONE WEAKER THAN THEY ARE ARE COWARDS. BUT TO DO IT TO A CHILD IS THE LOWEST OF THE LOW.

Now they are fearing for their lives. GOOD ENOUGH FOR THEM, Now they might just have a slight Idea of the pain they put peter through.
