Malena,
With so many Premier division Clubs in debt and these overpaid players doing b***er all to earn their
obscene Wages, it"s time for the Fans to do something. They pay through the nose for Season tickets and kits
and deserve better.

Panda, I haven't been down the City for a long time, put off by the sky high prices and the 'couldn't giva damn' approach to the game by the overpaid yobs who get paid vast fortunes doing what I and thousands of others did for free on a Saturday and/or Sunday afternoon in the park. Beside which we played fairer enjoyed ourselves as well as often times working 50 or 60 hours a week.
Yes you are right, it is down to the fans to take a stance and show the clubs what they think of the rip off prices charged for a 90 minute display by 22 amateur overpaid divas...... I did

Has anyone else seen this Ad. ? I saw it for the first time this morning and MU must be in trouble financially.!!!
It starts off with an older man being served a drink on an Airplane, then shows all these guys sitting down
behind him in the plane and lobbing a Football around. The ball is about to hit by the older man but a hand
comes out to save it, and yes, the hand belongs to Rooney and the older guy is Bobby Charlton
It"s an ad for Turkish Airlines, how much did MU get paid for that I wonder ?

One of the Neville brothers maybe.
To get things into perspective it is mostly just the premier league clubs and the more 'fashionable' and ambitious Championship and league one clubs that pay ridiculous wages. Some of the lower league clubs that have been relegated from higher divisions have still to pay the legacy of their foolishness in signing up long term contracts for average and by definition under performing players.
Make no mistake that some clubs and their players ,staff and management do amazing work in the community for the kids.Millwall (more often maligned for their hooligan fans) where one of the first teams in the country to establish an 'Anti Racism Trust' and work in the community with Lewisham Council, this was established in 1994.They now have over 150 'workshops' in the Borough of Lewisham and Southwark where players go to lecture to the kids at schools.Millwall also has a community scheme and sports academy used regularly by all. They are currently runningfootball tournaments for Adults in conjunction with World mental health day.
Players regularly welcome or visit sick children.
Neil Harris, all time Millwall top scorer, survived testicular cancer and still plays and spends a great deal of time working with others to bring 'awareness' to that illness, with regular sponsored events.
So it is important to recognise the good work that many clubs and their players do.Apart from that you still see some very good football as well.So lets not knock it completely.
I am afraid that football is in the blood for most of us from an early age,and most fans just want to get out of a Saturday afternoon to watch their favourite team,it is a social necessity for many.
The wages being paid to rooney and many others is obscene and doesnt relate to their effort on the pitch and certainly not off it.

Lioned,
Iv"e never been to a Football match, nor really supported my local team, but was a keen supporter of West Ham at one time because they played such elegant Football, and enjoy watching Cup Finals. I was in Liverpool
visiting a Friend and we watched in the Pub the Liverpool/MU match for the Championship, which MU won with a last gasp goal, having already won the European Championship. I was really excited and was the only one acknowledging the win, but the Fans in the Pub called MU all the names going and there is a definite enmity
between the Clubs. It"s a sad day for British Football that we have to buy so many Foreign players and so many
clubs are owned by Foreigners. The Fans today are not well served IMO.

After a visit to a whore house, wayne rooney notices a green lump on his knob so goes to Dr's. "That's Serious" says doc, "You know how rugby players get cauliflower ears?" "Yes," says wayne nervously. "Well," says doc, "You've got a Brothel Sprout!"

Was he saying that the sheep looked like a cow or the cow looked like a sheep?
Or was he saying that either of them had a greater footballing skills than Rooney?
Or did he have any idea at all of just what he was saying?

Just announced, Rooney has lost his T.V. show as a direct result of his behaviour on the pitch. Alex must be furious with the MU Board for
agreeing to Rooney"s demands before signing a new Contract, at this rate nobody will want to buy him

He 'kissed like a virgin': Wayne Rooney's vice girl tells of £195 sex session with actor in court battle to keep fling secret Helen Wood, 23, said the married star paid £195 for the hour-long liaison and turned up without his wedding ring on. The 23-year-old single mother – who used a sex toy on the star – performed a massage on him after he got out of the shower before she 'moved down'. The celebrity is battling to hush up the scandal and has already won a High Court gagging order to keep his identity secret. ...read

I've seen chimps show more intelligence than rooney its a good thing he can kick a ball about or he'd have been on a street corner in a hoodie with the other knuckle draggers.

when he pulled a moody a few months ago Alex Ferguson had to eat humble pie and pay what Rooney was demanding, he should have let him go ,Rooney has done nothing since and showed how ineffecrtual he was against Barcelona.
