The person who is accusing Paulo Sargento as well as journalists and the director of TVI is a manipulating sociopathic who is accused of savagely raping several young women. By the way he confessed but never showed remorse.

I certainly don't think that PS is losing any sleep over this case and he is still appearing on television. I hope that ss read the part where the Ordem de Psicólogos stated that a doctor treating a patient has the obligation to inform the police if he believes that a crime will be committed and in this case, he is not bound by patient-doctor confidentiality.

Carolina, I think you should be more understanding. I'm sure you are aware of the tendency of McCann fans to defend all sorts of criminals including convicted child killers, suspected child molesters and now serial rapists.

The point the article in expresso appears to be making is that Amarals buddy Sargento could have informed the police. However rather than that he chose to inform TV1 so that they could film the suspect and show him on TV the day before he was arrested.

This is so utterly stupid it defies belief. It is possible that this could compromise the forthcoming trial.

I cannot imagine why he did this. Surely it could not have been for the money...

The day before the man was arrested? So, either the police knew already and had enough evidence to arrest or the TV appearance led to the arrest. Anyone know which it was?

I read the article and it appeared to be a smear by insinuating that Sargento informed the TV station. No proof of anything by a paper biased in favour of the McCanns. Someone with money and influence sure seems to be after anyone who cares about Madeleine. A very vindictive bunch they are. Where the hell you got the idea Sargento was going to court over this heaven only knows. Maybe you need to hire a better translator.

Sans is on the ball as usual, sniffing out the offences committed by anyone who is guilty of smearing the names of those poor McCanns, just because of the situation their daughter found herself in. I fully expect a detailed report if Gonçalo Amaral is found to be putting his recycling bin out on the wrong day.

It is a very sad state of affairs when parents who are child neglecting, serial liars, and whose actions resulted in the annihilation of their child, should still be at liberty....... perhaps sans is yet another in a long list of McCann victims?
