She's beautiful isn't she Fred - and this picture shows his hairline quite well - not sure it's quite the same

Don't forget carmen, those wedding pics were taken 5 years ago, so his hairline could be very similar to that now. I too think he looks very similar to the guy the police would like to speak to. Its just the age thing that makes me think maybe not??

Questions: Police want to trace this man, seen here in the Cotes Park Inn, in Somercotes, on the night that Jia Ashton was killed
This is the latest suspect being hunted by police over the murder of management trainee Jia Ashton.
Officers yesterday released the CCTV stills showing the man at a pub - the Cotes Park Inn - near the murder scene within an hour of her death.
Detectives are keen to speak to the well-built man wearing a distinctive Lonsdale sweatshirt who was earlier seen in the woods where Mrs Ashton, 25, died.
The economics graduate was battered to death last month while walking home from work on a woodland path known as the Yellow Brick Road.
Her body was found in undergrowth beneath piles of twigs and brushwood on March 13, three days after she went missing on her walk home from the Thorntons chocolate factory.
Her regular route took her on the path through Sleetmoor Woods to her home in Somercotes, Derbyshire, a mile and a half away.
Officers believe 25-year-old Jia was simply in the 'wrong place at the wrong time' when she was killed in a random attack - and they have DNA evidence to connect the killer to the scene.
Police say the man in the footage entered the Cotes Park pub in Somercotes at 6pm, 50 minutes after she left work.
Detective Chief Superintendent Steve Cotterill said: 'We'd like to talk to this man who may have information that would help us.
'As I have said before, we are trying to speak to everyone who was in that part of Somercotes around the time Jia disappeared.
'We know this man was in the area at about 6pm and went into the pub.'
At a press conference yesterday, officers also revealed they had made a crucial forensic breakthrough linking the killer to the scene. The development could lead to a mass DNA or fingerprint check of residents and workers near the woods.
Detective Chief Superintendent Steve Cotterill said: ‘Forensic analysis of the scene has produced evidence that will help us trace the person responsible for her death.
‘Early indications suggest the murderer is not on any police database and has not been part of the inquiry.’

Torn apart: Jia and Matthew Ashton on their wedding day in China five years ago. The couple met while students at Warwick University
Mr Cotterill refused to describe the evidence but it is understood to be DNA or fingerprint related. He said he did not think robbery was a motive, adding: ‘I believe she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. My feeling is she wasn’t specifically targeted.’
Mr Cotterill also renewed an appeal for information about another man wearing a beanie hat and green parka coat who was seen acting suspiciously in the woods around the time of the killing.
His image has already been published in posters, leaflets and in the media. He is one of the very few people who were in the woods who has not been identified and spoken to by police.
DSC Cotterill added: 'He is the only person who was acting suspiciously in the woods and who jumped into the undergrowth when he was seen by others.
'We have another sighting of this man in Somercotes early on the evening of March 10, on Sleetmoor Lane, very close to the woods.'
'There is a possibility that he has lived in the Somercotes area before. He may well still reside in the area or has moved away and visited on the day of the murder.

Chilling: The track known as the Yellow Brick Road through the Sleetmore Woods in Somercotes, Derbyshire, where Jia Ashton's body was found covered in twigs and brushwood
'But my feelings at the moment lead me to believe that he has a good knowledge of the local area.'
The motive for the attack is still unclear but police are confident it was not robbery - a number of Jia's possessions have been recovered.
DCS Cotterill revealed that officers had recovered forensic evidence from the scene which would help trace the person responsible for Jia's death.
'Early indications suggest that the murderer is not in any police database and has not been part of the police inquiry so far,' he said.
'I believe at this moment in time that she was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
'There is no indication whatsoever to suggest this was anything to do with Jia's ethnicity.

Wanted: DCS Steve Cotterill (right) is keen to speak to this man who was seen in Sleetmoor Woods on the night Jia was killed
'My personal feeling at the moment is that she wasn't specifically targeted as an individual.
'This is a complex and painstaking inquiry and thanks to the public the investigation team has a lot of info to process - that will take time and is not straight forward.
'We will work tirelessly to find Jia's killer, however long it takes.'
Police conducted vehicle checks near the murder scene last Thursday and have visited homes in the Somercotes area.
More than 400,000 people have visited a police Facebook page about the murder.
Jia's husband, Matthew Ashton, 26, a primary school teacher, was questioned for three days over her death before he was released. It is understood he is no longer a suspect.
The couple met at Warwick University, where Jia was studying economics, and married in her native China in 2006.
A £20,000 reward is still being offered for information that leads to the arrest of Jia's killer.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 0345 123 33 33 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police have evidence on Jia killer

Published on Sunday 10 April 2011 13:30

Police investigating the murder of an economics graduate found dead in woodland in Derbyshire have revealed that they have forensic evidence linking the killer to the scene.

Jia Ashton, 25, who lived in Somercotes and worked at the Thorntons chocolate company site in nearby Swanwick, disappeared on March 10 and was found dead in Sleetmoor Woods three days later.

Since then a reward of up to £20,000 has been offered for information to catch her killer, but on Wednesday Derbyshire Police said they have evidence connecting the murderer to the scene.

Detective Chief Superintendent Steve Cotterill said: "Jia had trauma to her head and face and detailed forensic analysis of the scene has produced evidence about her killer.

"We now have forensic evidence that will help us trace the person responsible for her death."

Police said inquiries are still concentrated around tracing a man whose image has been publicised in posters, leaflets and the media.

He is one of few people who were in the woods who have not yet been identified and spoken to by police, the force said.

"He is the only person who was acting suspiciously in the woods and who jumped into the undergrowth when he was seen by others," said Mr Cotterill.

In a bid to trace others in the area, police have also released a CCTV image of a man seen on the evening Mrs Ashton died, who was in the Cotes Park Inn on Nottingham Road in Somercotes.

"We'd like to talk to this man who may have information that would help us," Mr Cotterill said. "We know this man was in the area at about 6pm and went into the pub. I'd urge him to come forward to speak to us."
