They probably think they look fine. I always wonder about Kate's face. I think she had a nose job - long time ago - that nose is too straight and a little small for her face. Surprised she didn't have those -not warts - but whatever they are, done. I've never found her even vaguely attractive.
She has been styled, I think, smart frocks instead of little girly smocky things, hair shorter.
Gerry looks as if a stylist has had a go at him as well. Hair lightly tousled to look more dashing, 'younger' shirt, no tie, no jacket. Looks as if the hair dye is a slightly lighter brown and I think there's a hint of mascara on his eyelashes. No good, that mean little mouth and the voice to match will put anyone off.

Yes she has most certainly been given advice, her hair looks quite nice there, also the outfit is a huge improvment on that blue tent thing she wore at some fundraising dinner they had.
Still having said that, they both look awful and very nervous. TICK-TOCK!!

Looking at their photos in PdL in the earliest days, then looking at the pictures above - it's like watching The Picture Of Dorian Gray, but without the picture. If you see what I mean.

And they certainly need washing, they stink what with sweat and dirt, sorry but true.
I saw the news clip on the Spanish news. Only about 5 seconds. He marched in first like the consultant about to do the ward round, with a nervous looking Kate scurrying behind him. Obnoxious pair, imo of course.

Hi Bobsy, they were very serious this time, no chance of a photographer snapping them unawares laughing like they did in Amsterdam.!!!
The mealy mothed Press withdrew it at their command......just what is it about the McCanns,? even famous Celebrities have no say over
the Press.

Hi Panda, yes the arrival was just as I remember from my nursing days, the consultant making his entrance with the nervous ward sister taking up the rear. Certainly these photos on this thread are showing a new stress. Tight lips, and all PR'd, no chance of a press person getting a sly giggle as we have seen before.
You ask what is it about the Mccanns. I am starting to think, not a lot, the cracks are starting to appear. For all Kate's new haircut and lippy, just look at her eyes, Karma is catching her up.

I has me annoyed (not again! LOL) that they are still bleating on that "no police force is actively searching for Madeleine". So what is £3.5 million of our hard earned taxes being used for?
They can't help but lie 24/7 they have a script and they will stick to it regardless of the truth of the matter at that time. I bet no interviewer is allowed to ask any question they chose to and all questions are vetted well in advance.

Bobsy, it"s probably because they know they have to put their heads in the Lions mouth and face the anger of the Portugese again. Gerry
couldn" t handle it last time and Fiona Payne had to fly to Portugal to sit with Kate in the Court while Gerry made some excuse about work.
They are on shaky ground now because amaral had the injunction lifted on appeal.
gillyspot, write to David Cameron direct and voice your concern that as a taxpayer you feel a Review costing £3 million will be pointless
and want assurance that an investigation will take place.

Re: Pictures Madrid book promotion 19 October 2011
I'll give it a go. I was thinking of sending my revised letter back to the home office and cc'ing my local MP. but How about I send it direct to DC (with a copy of my missives and the response I got) and cc HO and my MP.
That could work. I'll give that option a go.
DC seems to like good publicity. If I can only get the Sun to publish it in an "open letter" I am sure to get a positive response the very next day!

Go on, give it a try and Good Luck , mention something like you have read the files released by the PJ and are concerned that the McCanns
and their friends refused to attend a recon and even John Buck, Ambassador to Portugal at the time Madeleine went missing , advised the Foreign Office that there were anomalies in the Tapas 9 statements That will show him that you are clued up and send a copy to your MP and
The Sun

Re: Pictures Madrid book promotion 19 October 2011
So far I haven't given an opinion (to them) on the case I simply used my real concerns regarding Scotland Yard and the scandals that are being revealed daily. I wrote my original letter on 21st July just after Paul Stephenson and John Yates resigned. In my follow up letters I have mentioned the other things that have been happening re hackgate and bribery within the force.
I will refer to the PJ files in this letter as well as insist on an adequate reply to the questions that were ignored in their first (very much belated) response.

I am. She is the light of my life. Only 10 months old and already a handful. Gorgeous and my little princess. I am staying up tonight (with the baby monitor on the arm of the chair) but when she goes back to her mom then I will have a sleep tomorrow.
I should mention I am in the same house as my lovely grandaughter (doors locked) unlike K & G McCann.

And you wouldn't do anything to put her at risk as you love her and put her well being before anything for yourself. Some children are a blessing and blessed with caring parents and grandparents. Sadly some are just an inconvenience.

Re: Pictures Madrid book promotion 19 October 2011
I have managed to go on holiday several times (never once left them in any creche whatsoever as was their holiday too). First holiday was when my daughter was coming up on 2 and my son was 7 months we (me and my mother - hubby couldn't come) took the kids to Cyprus.
We had a great family time. Even though I worked (and still do) full time I wanted to share the experience with my children - that is why I had them to enjoy sandcastles paddling etc and seeing them grow and develop into nice adults. Luckily both have and I am very proud of them.

My now five-year-old grandson has stayed with me about once a month since he was a few months old. When he began to sleep in a bed, rather than a cot, each evening, I would ask him to show me how he would find me if he woke up. So, he would climb out of his bed and walk into my room. Also, I had a gate across the top of the stairs, just in case he woke up feeling woozy and either stumbled or thought about going downstairs to find me. It's what we do, gillyspot.
Now we know!
Panda wrote:Hi ann_chovey, he looks to me as if he is busting to go to the Loo
As I said, they are miserable because sales of the Book have dried up and now they know they have to face Amaral again and the Portugese
people they might just withdraw on some pretext and pay the damages Amaral and the Publisher will claim. Surely Duarte has handed the
Books back now.!!!!!
Now we know why they looked so miserable - they has just learnt of Pat Brown's action!!!!
