I waste an hour of my life on an expired credit card.

Didn't realize my mastercard had expired,so i spend an hour on the telephone to mastercard then rbs,their telephone connections were not terribly good, got cut off several times,had to press various numbers to be put through to various departments.
turns out they send me a letter terminating my card because i wasn't using it.

If you lose cash from your wallet or your pocket - its gone - no point searching.

On the other hand if you lose a Bank card/or have it stolen/or scammed in a 'hole in the wall' - you end up on the phone for hours. Its no good going to the Branch. If anything to do with Bank cards it just causes a whole raft of time consuming frantic behaviour - but we are continually told its the smart way to buy goods and services!

THEY ARE GOING TO SEND A £9.70 CHEQUE.
THEY ARE STILL SENDING ME STATEMENTS,EVEN THOUGH THE CARD IS NO LONGER IN USE,THATS A WASTE OF MONEY.
