Maddie McCann is alive on the Internet ...
The 'World' is still looking for Maddie. The PJ created a very special equipment will review the case together with the Yard.
Never the disappearance of a child created a big media frenzy. Madeleine McCann disappeared on 3 May 2007 in Praia da Luz, Algarve.
From the disgruntled parent suspects, McCann consciously or unconsciously, fueled the mystery and the media. A year later, the case was filed. No suspects, no conclusions, responses and much controversy between the British couple and the Portuguese authorities.
Maybe that's why, even today, the world waits for answers. The PJ has created a very special team that will review the case, along with Scotland Yard.
But in real life no one knows what happened to Madeleine McCann, there is a place where it is very much alive: the Internet. Sites, blogs, books, videos, documentaries.
The page created by the parents of Maddie is still active. In "Find Madeleine", Gerry and Kate explain why not give up and call for new donations to the fund that ensures the search for her daughter. Show photos, videos and sell products: bracelets, posters and even T-Shirts with a picture of Maddie.
But the truth is that most of the sites found on the Internet claims that the child died in the apartment in Praia da Luz and that parents are responsible for what happened.
There are sites that show a very comprehensive level of information provided. They even have all the research, however disclosed by prosecutors Portuguese, translated into different languages. Gather news and to do interviews.
And, it is curious that in addition to sites in English and Portuguese, is also easy to find pages in other languages such as these two: "Hasta la Verdad that separate 'and' Unterdenteppichgekehrt '.
What about books? They were written over 20 books on Madeleine McCann. One of the last, written by an American profiler, Pat Brown. The book went on sale in the form of ebook on Amazon, but soon, after just removed the legal representatives of McCann deem "defamatory".
In 2009, the 'Daily IOL "(now TVI24.pt) interviewed Tony Bennett, a British lawyer, in her 60s, now retired, after the disappearance of Maddie started a struggle for Kate and Gerry were accused of negligence . He later wrote a book entitled "What Really Happened to Madeleine McCann? 60 Reasons That Which suggest she was not abducted. "
But the most controversial book that was raised, no doubt, 'Maddie - The Truth Lies "written by former judicial police inspector, Gonçalo Amaral, who led the investigation into the disappearance of Maddie in the first months. The parents of Madeleine succeeded even though the book was forbidden to sell for some time.
On YouTube, a search with the name of Madeleine McCann is close to six thousand videos. Many made by anonymous, without any connection to the case, research and the family.
And as the digital world is not limited in time and space, after her disappearance, Madeleine 'emerged' in social networks. Not only the official page on facebook created by parents, as in many others, people who felt touched by the story. The same happened on twitter.
