Thanks NBY I had read it before but now have read it again and as before it made me . Bren despite grovelling at the feet of her new Gods the McCanns doesn't actually say what changed her mind. I have asked her several times & got a non comittal answer from her.

I would hazard a guess that it was some sort of white envelope from Cart of Muck that changed her mind.

There may be other envelopes to worry about one of these days...

I thought it was Amaral too. That awful selfish man, who is now reduced to living back with his father at Olivias, miles away from his family. I really, really hope, that the McCanns get their justice, they have villified so many people and been allowed to get away with it.
