It's a hypothesis that even I, as an affirmed corruption and conspiracy sceptic, have not dismissed.

Certain things are very much pointing to it. I am following the evidence

certain things have been pointing that way for a loooong time. I try not to dwell on it though. It's not something I like to think about.
I haven't got over page 129 yet.

???? If the PJ did not pass any information to the Spanish police - what exactly are the Spanish police investigating? A new lead based on what information from where??

I hope with all my heart that PJ & SY are checking exactly who is giving this latest 'sighting' and the Leh one last year to the media.

The fact that our press just prints this bilge without checking the facts shows how pathetic they are. Had high hopes a couple of years ago when DMail actually did some investigative journalism and checked that Edgar had just had a jolly in Barcelona and didn't appear to actually question anyone. But then he never did get to the lawless lair, did he?

By the time this 'sighting' hit the press they knew it was false anyway. So if Maddie's pic on the front page why don't they have the guts to say that the info was in 10 days ago and has been discounted? Spineless cowards.

When justice is one day served on all these people complicit in the 'disappearance' I hope each and every one of them has to pay for the enormous costs. The police of various countries have spent a fortune on chasing dead ends.

If, as has been mentioned at times in the past, there is some kind of Injunction with regard to factual negative reporting in connection with Healy & McCann, then surely by the same token they ought not to publish stuff about "sightings" either - I'm trying to say that if they are actually convinced like the rest of us about who the real culprits are, but cannot say, why give them succour by publishing stuff that suits the McCause?

It seems a bit inconsistent and contrary to me.



ETA: I've just found reference to the "sighting" in today's Torygraph ............. unlike the Blabtoids (sic.), it has got two column inches on page11. That's almost disdainful!

This is something I have wondered about for a long long time..............just why no authority at all has made any attempt to stop all this blatant garbage about sightings. Why should normal families be subjected to being harrassed by the Mccanns? Why should these obviously blatant lies never be questioned? As you say, it needs stopping and it needs stopping now, there have been incidents in the past where stupid people have terrorised innocent families by attempting to grab a child or staring at a child. How many children and families have been traumatised by the rubbish put out by TM and the totally pathetic newspapers?

Apart from the "sightings" the potential harm to the child and family, who is advising the press so that the "sighted" child can be whoosed away days in advance of anyone getting close? The whole case beggars belief jimo.
