Is she about to tell us how good her gravy is?
Or how good the gravy train has been for her parents?
Change the hairstyle, add adult clothes and it's Mrs Smith who teaches Year 2!!!

That picture is really upsetting, not only does it look far too old to be an 8 going on 9 year old, the girl seems to have a really hard face. This is a disgrace and any genuine parent of a missing child would be up in arms at making them look like that.

Someone of that ilk, yes.
This new pic looks more mumsy than childlike.

Are nearly 9 year olds really regarded in America as "soon to be teenagers"?
That's really frightening! A girl just nine should not be seen as nearly teenage. The journalist who wrote that is just one of many promoting sexualisation of little girls. TV, internet and tabloids together push this concept all the time.

A really disturbing part of this case...everyone has lookalikes...just how many 8,9,10,11 year old girls look like this & how many families could this affect today, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year...

Re: Madeleine aged 8 as US experts see her
Absolutely right, Matthew!
Now it's the 8-11 year old group of kids who will be prodded, poked, peered at - maybe even tugged away from their parents. If this isn't stopped, like NOW, there could be a real abduction resulting from the fake one.
I don't suppose the bar stewards who perpetuate this bilge have even anticipated this cruel irony.
Or if they have, they just don't bloody well care.

Exactly what I posted earlier. I foresee many more sightings now in the near future.

Re: Madeleine aged 8 as US experts see her
Notice that most "sightings" are at least 6 months old when they make the UK media. IMO the papers are checking that they are false & there is no problem to share it before printing Clearly this is apart from the Leh sighting in India that the McCann couple were so annoyed about as UK media shared this "sighting" yet perhaps it was because Clarence Mitchell insisted their detectives were checking on DNA with Indian police & K & G had a photograph of this (now non existent) child.

What do you think? The timing is perfect, isn't it?
So, in the last weeks, we have:
- The new book with insights on the review
- A new sighting of Madeleine
- The lead SY investigator on BBC
- A new age-progression picture of Madeleine
All those puzzle pieces ready for the fifth anniversary.. Each piece points toward one direction, no big surprise here..
It's disgusting, but it's the reality.

I'd go further than "disgusting" ............... "obscene" isn't too far from the mark.

Yes, WHY??
IMO,
- This case can't be prosecuted, no body, no forensic report (although the first one was conclusive, the second one wasn't..)
- What would be the purpose of SY to point a finger towards the parents if they can't go further, i.e. prosecute them?
- Government involvement, from day 1 (why things would be different now?)
- Money, money, money
It's weird though.. There was a whitewash in 2007-2008, so why set-up a review, with a team of 30 investigators, spend millions... to whitewash AGAIN..! No need to do that, they could have just shut the Mccanns up..
Yes, it's REALLY weird..
We'll see..

forensics question
With regard to the forensics, could somebody please answer my question. I am aware the samples sent to the UK lab were later destroyed on the basis that nobody had asked for them back.
I remember reading, though I do not know where, samples were also sent to a Portugese Lab. Is this in fact the case ? If it is, do they still have possession of the samples and if they do it is true to say they could be re-examined in the future ?
Does anybody have any correct information about this. Thanks.

They need to keep the case in the public eye to bring in the money, I cant see
any other reason for it.

Thanks pamalam. Some of those are awful. Some are horrendous.
Re: Madeleine aged 8 as US experts see her
Jeez!!! If this don't take the biscuit!!
If the parents are approving all these different images who knows what she looks like. Even Kate & Gerry don't know.
What chance a tipsy teenager on his holidays?
I think I'm going to be sick.
