Questions for DCI Redwood

Please feel free to add any;


1. Though this is a ‘Review ‘, is it not true that homicide is one of the fundamental facts to be determined in a missing person investigation ?

2. In cases that are suspicious or unexplained is it true that police guidelines suggest to use the maxim and that failure to apply such thinking and tactics are known to result in the loss of valuable investigative opportunities and ultimately failure ?

3. Has the Review managed to establish how cadaver residue contaminated the crime scene and items belonging to the family?

4. The Review mentions a timeline for an abduction to have occurred, is this timeline based on witness statements?

5. Has the Review managed to clarify whether or not the apartment was locked or unlocked?

6. Has the Review managed to establish with any certainty how an abductor gained entry into the apartment and exited the apartment?

7. Has the Review done or is the Review considering doing a reconstruction in order to prove if it is t possible for an abduction to have taken place which is consistent with the witness’s accounts?

As the parents and their mates were the last known people to see Madeleine
alive, is it not true that there is no way any police investigation would be able to eliminate
them as suspects at this stage.

In view of the numerous inconsistencies in their statements and interviews and Kate's book, is it not true that
no police investigation could possibly eliminate them as suspects at this stage as their stories simply
do not add up.

Is it true that you are going with the abduction theory simply because in your opinion there is no evidence Madeleine in dead?
If so, please answer ELI's question ...
3. Has the Review managed to establish how cadaver residue contaminated the crime scene and items belonging to the family?

If the Portuguese still retain ownership of this case what would happen if the Met Review found nothing new & drew a blank, would the Portuguese close the case or would it remain shelved until some evidence did emerge to reopen it ?

Which "timeline" was it that you "forensically examined"? Exactly?

i would ask about 15 markers out of 19 . good enough for a conviction outside portugal

* - Has the Review eliminated the possibility of the parent's involvement in Madeleine's disappearance and if so, how far into the review was this established and what proof was found to enable the confirmation of this conclusion?

Given your background and training, how can you honestly say with a straight face that you beleive that Madeleine is alive? This would imply that you assume there is at least a 51% chance that she is alive, ie more likely alive than dead.

Any sane and sound thinking person knows that there is less than 1% chance that Madeleine is alive, particularly if she was abducted by a stranger. Who paid you to make such a ridiculous statement that tarnishes your entire career as an officer?

The Portugese Police have retained Files which presumably contain information considered important, has the Review Team had access to these Files?

Will you be interviewing the McCanns to clear up any anomalies between the Files and their televised interviews.?

Will you be interviewing Halligen about the £300,000 received from the fund after reading his Report./

Why are you asking people who were holidaying in Praia da Luz at the time of Madeleine's disappearance to contact you with any information. Or are you trying to intercept information for another reason. This is wrong you should be asking them to send any and all information directly to the Portuguese Police as they have primacy.

Did you actually go to Portimao to show these '195 potential investigative leads' to the Portuguese police and can you still hear them laughing?


How did you keep a straight face (well actually you didn't some off the time) when you came on t.v. spouting your garbage expecting US to believe.....?


How did you feel when you went home that night after that interview, were you able to look into yours wifes eyes KNOWING that you lied for the mccanns?


And lastly, when you kissed your children that night, did you feel comftable knowing that the child you were supposedly to be getting justice for and lied about to protect her neglecting parents earlier in that day would never say goodnight to her daddy ever again, never see the moon or stars and never get excited about father
Christmas again?

Just watched for the first time the recent Panorama programme.

This really is outrageous. The general public will just think that none of this has been done by the PJ and the shiny, perfect British investigation has to do all these basic investigations - those sardine munchers failed again. I've rarely seen such a blatant use of xenophobia by an official body.

Have you looked at the list of British paedophiles in PDL at the time which was held back from PJ.

Have you checked the Sex Offenders List - in relation to Yvonne Martin's comments.

Have you checked the CATS entries for anyone who was in PDL at the time.

Have you got all the photos which people were asked to send to CEOP instead of the PJ.

Have you been given the satellite images that the Portuguese were denied earlier into the investigation and YOU yourself have NOT passed on these satellite images to the Portuguese?

Have you `forensically examined` G&K McCanns, phone records, bank and credit card records and medical records and of course Madeleine`s medical records?

Have you examined the list of names on Operation Ore`s files?

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT EDDIE AND KEELA?

If you've forensically examined the scribbled timeline (which version) how does JT's sighting at 9.15 tally with the 9.30 check? You wouldn't have been able to see the twins breathing without seeing the empty bed. So why bother to look in the bedroom at all if you couldn't see all 3 kiddies?

Exactly how long and what time was DP's visit on 3 May.

Did GMc play tennis that afternoon or did he have an achilles injury.

If someone sent you a photo of GM digging in the soil with co-ordinates west of PDL - what would you do with it?

Since your appeal for new information - what proportion relate to and abduction thesis and what the alternative thesis?

What are the origins of that information you have recieved relating to an abduction thesis?

Have you analysed the sources of information recieved and held by Mondeo3?

If When the abduction thesis is dismissed - what action do you think should be taken against those establishing and managing the fund?

What comunication have you and/or your colleague working on operation Grange with the Mc's since the start of the Review?

What information you have received from the Porto group have you discussed with the McCanns?
