Good morning everyone. I was scanning through a few forums this morning, and saw this on Amazon.

It looks like someone has been telling lies.




Type in the names separately 'Healy' and 'Mccann'. Note no specialty for the former in medicine, but Cardiology for the latter.

Have you got the right Kate?

There is a Kate Marie Healy and their is a Kate Laura McCann and we are rarely sure how she wishes to be known (Seems to be mood dependent).

The middle name will be the clincher and I don't know what it is.

I presume she would have registered under the name Healy, as they weren't married then, and the qualification date tallies as well with GM.

If this is the correct one and I think it is, click on the medical reference number and it shows no speciality !

Just checked elsewhere on net. Her second name is Marie.

Kate Laura McCann is a different person, she graduated 11 years after Kate Marie Healy did from a different university.

I believe Gerry McCann graduated from the Glasgow School of Medicine. I still hold that institution in very high regard, in spite of that fact.

I've always doubted the early claims that she was a fully qualified anaesthetist - she did start on it I think, but I doubt that it's a qualification you can get in just six months or so. She also worked in the maternity wards.
It puzzled me that she worked as a locum GP if she had further qualifications.

IIRC she worked as an anaesthetist at the Starship in New Zealand, but never fully qualified. This is the same Starship Charlotte Pennington worked for as a "professional fairy".
